Star of Danger

This story took place in Sweden in a little town where Karl and Peter
lived called Dusseldorf that was located in Germany. This story took time in
the times of the famous World War ll at the 1.The Genre of this book is a
biography, it tells the story of someone else's life and how hard it was for him
to find his best friend and talks also how he did it and how he grew up. The
places were also in different places all over Sweden
The main characters of this story are Karl, a 13 year old boy who was
frustrated to find his friend no matter what happened, he has courage to go off
his town on adventure and help other people, he is also smart in the way he
manages to accomplish all the things he made. Peter, who is also Karl’s age
and they both went to the same place but different directions, has the courage
to leave with his best friend Karl. Else, a 13 year old girl who Karl found in the
city and decided to help him, she is very kind to Karl and helped him a lot.
Story started with a 13 year old named Karl who was in school. He wasn’t a
troublemaker, but didn’t pay attention. WHen he was going out of school with
his friend, they saw a store burning. Karl decided to enter and rescue some
things, but got scolded. The police came and told him that it was too
dangerous for him to be there and he could get hurt because the fire wasn’t
even off and it's getting worse. When he went to his house he could find his
parents anywhere. They arrived and scolded him of what they did because it
was wrong and he shouldn’t make that again. They were talking, but then a
nazi came for him, but got to escape the place. The boy decided to take a
different place from his own partner or friend who was Peter. They went close
together until Nassajo.
When they separated, what Karl wanted to do was the same thing as
Peter, to bring peace and freedom for everyone, and both decided to have a
journey all over the world. When he got to that town, he saw that the Nazi
soldiers got slaves and were going to take them to a concentration camp, but
Peter didn’t wanted to go, that already knew where to go and they know how
to live without each other and Peter decided to go That it was to Faaborg
because in there, there were a lot of jews that had to be saved, Karl is not a
German, he is a Jew and that is the reason why the Nazi wanted to take him
out and he had no other choice, just to escape. When he was trying to escape
with the people, there were a lot of Nazi soldiers on the way and it was hard
for them.
When Karl escaped, he got toHalsingborg and made it like a Hotel for
people who needed help. He hasn’t seen Peter since they separated. To gain
money, Karl decided to work on the newspaper. In that, Karl met someone
else from that town, they became friends and she wanted to help him to try to
find where he was. Karl was desperate and also wrote that so there could be
a chance that Peter noticed him and Karl put all his energy on that newspaper.
It was almost a holiday and he was starting to feel frustrated because he
couldn't find Peter and he even ignored questions when they told some things.
Finally Karl found Peter and he managed to do what he wanted, he found it
because someone who knew Peter gave them the phone and address for
Peter to go with him. They were excited, but Karl didn't have time to celebrate.
Peter decided to talk about all the things he did and that it cost him a lot
because they were too far. When they were on their way to a town, Peter got
stopped by a Nazi agent who later took them to detention and put them in an
SS guard, meaning he will be very supervised. Finally he escaped, it was his
only way out, and he went to a cabin and chatted in normal clothes and Peter
decided to look for a job. Years later a prisoner who was in a concentration
camp in Auschwitz came and gave a letter to Peter about her mother's death.
He started crying and Karl was going to be with him all the time.
This is my favorite story so far, it talks about a relationship between
people who love each other and would do anything no matter what for each
other. It had parts of the story that there is everything good, but suddenly they
happened a lot of problems. I think that the main problem was that they
separated and worked so hard to find each other. Also it is sensitive that he
got the news that her mother died in the moment where he was at peace,
Karl’s father also died I think because the German soldier executed them. I do
recommend this story a lot, especially those who like drama, but no strong
drama, emocional drama. I start to learn more and more about Hittler each
time I read a story and it gets me thinking of how cruel a person can be if they
have a lot of power. In conclusion I loved this story and recommended it to
everyone and I did like the details the story has and it's not even confusing to
understand.
