• As Senior Physiotherapist responsibilities include detailed assessment and exercise prescription with regular
follow ups. Reviewing referrals and patient's medical record to determine the appropriate treatment needed
• Perform comprehensive assessment and maintain complete patient documentation. Evaluate the findings to
establish or review treatment programs. Interaction and practice in collaboration with a variety of
professional. The collaboration includes physicians, surgeons, intensivist, physiatrist, fellow physiotherapist,
nurses, respiratory therapist, occupational therapist, psychologist, social workers, speech-language
pathologist.
• To work as a part of multi-disciplinary team and participate in multi-disciplinary team meeting.
• Instructing and motivating patients in therapeutic activities and exercises. Evaluating patient’s treatment
progress and the outcome or effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and modify treatment as necessary.
• Coordinating with chief physiotherapists to conduct individual as well as group exercise programs for
patients.
• Rotational duty in ICU (MICU, PSICU, HDU, CCU, ECMO ICU Transplant ICU – cardiopulmonary, liver
and renal, covid ICU) Orthopaedics, Neurology, Cardio pulmonary, Gynaecology, Geriatric, Paediatric,
General surgery, Oncology. Currently Liver Transplant department physiotherapy in-charge.
• Prescribing tailored home-based physical therapy programs for self-care activity instructions given to the
patient / family members/ care givers to achieve the goals.
• Patient and family education and counselling regarding progress and follow ups.
• To train the student, interns, clinical and junior physiotherapist for differential diagnosis and clinical
reasoning in orthopaedics, cardiopulmonary, geriatric and neurological physical rehabilitation. To schedule

topics to lecturers regarding reports and cases for discussion. Deliver practical demonstrations to the students
and interns regarding assessment, evaluation, treatment planning and treatment intervention.

therapeutic lifestyle changes.
