EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Reflection No. 1 | Introduction to Computer Systems
By 4C-Sia, Nasser Nicolas III H.

Learning Objective: (This is where you state the outcome/objective in which you examined
your syllabus)

Computer systems are the programs that control our personal computer and other
devices such as locks, light bulbs and even cars. In this lesson, you will learn about the
basic computer system components such as RAM and ROM. You will also learn about
how a processor works as well as what happens in a computer when you press a key
on your keyboard.

I learned that …

Computer systems are like a house. You need to know how to build one, what
materials you need, and what kind of roof you want on your house.

In this course, we'll be learning about the different components of a computer system:
hardware, software, and networks. We'll also learn about some of the different types
of computers that exist today--including laptops and desktops--and why each of them
is used for different purposes.

I learned this when …

I learned this when Sir Mark discussed the topic and we performed/submitted a practical
exercise training and assessment.

This learning matters …

Because Computer systems are the heart of modern technology. They're responsible
for everything from the internet to your car, and they're what make all of it possible.

In this course, we'll learn about how computer systems work--from their hardware
components to their software applications--and what they can do for us in the future.
We'll look at the different types of computers and how they're used in different
4
settings, from home offices to hospitals to corporate campuses. We'll also explore
some of the most important technologies that have come out in recent years, like
artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).

Reflection No. 2 | Computer Hardware and Storage Devices

By: 4C-

Learning Objective: (This is where you state the outcome/objective in which you examined
your syllabus)

Computer hardware and storage devices are a key part of your computer's operation.
They provide the foundation for all other components, and they're what keep your
machine running smoothly.

In this lesson, you'll learn about the different types of computer hardware and storage
devices. You'll also learn how these devices are used in conjunction with each other to
create a powerful computer system. Learn how to differentiate between different types
of storage devices.

I learned that …

I learned that computer hardware and storage devices are the foundation for a
successful computer.
A good operating system is necessary for a computer to function properly, but it's not
enough to make your computer run smoothly. You also need a good processor and
RAM, as well as an operating system with features like anti-virus software.
A processor can be either an Intel or AMD chip--either one will work fine in most
cases. RAM (Random Access Memory) is important because it allows you to store data
temporarily while you're working on something else. More RAM means more room
for programs to run at once, which means faster performance overall.

I learned this when …

I learned this when Sir Mr. Samson familiarized us and gave us a short quiz on the
Computer Hardware and Storage Devices system in our room.

5
This learning matters …

Computer hardware and storage devices are the foundation of your computer. They're
what make it run, and they're what allow you to do everything from writing a paper to
watching a movie.

Storage devices allow us to store our information and keep it safe from viruses and
hackers. They can also be used as backups in case something goes wrong with your
computer or if you need extra storage space for your files.

But if you don't know how to take good care of your computer, it will only last for so
long--and then it'll be time for something new!

Reflection No. 3 | Basic Computer Hardware and Software
Servicing with Troubleshooting
By 4C-

Learning Objective: (This is where you state the outcome/objective in which you examined
your syllabus)

Basic Computer Hardware and Software Servicing with Troubleshooting

This course will teach you how to troubleshoot basic computer hardware and software
issues. You will learn about common problems, how to fix them, and what to do if you
can't solve the problem. The material is presented in an easy-to-follow format, with
plenty of diagrams and pictures to help you understand what's happening under the
hood of your computer.

I learned that …

I learned that basic computer hardware and software servicing with troubleshooting is
a skill that can be used in any industry. I learned that there are many different types of
computers, including computer servers, desktop computers, laptops and tablets. I also
learned that these different types of computers have different components and may
require different kinds of repair services from time to time.
I learned that there are different kinds of components inside each type of computer
system: processors; memory (RAM); hard drives; video cards; motherboards; power
supplies; fans; cooling fans; cooling systems (coolers); fans and cooling systems
together make up a PC case fan assembly or system fan assembly.; fans inside a PC
case fan assembly or system fan assembly may be called "fans"; fans on a motherboard
may be called "fans"; fans inside a PC case fan assembly or system fan assembly may
be called "fans"; fans on a motherboard may be called "fans".
I learned that when troubleshooting problems with your computer it's important to
have all of the right tools at hand so you can easily diagnose problems without having
to rely on someone else's advice or suggestions.;

I learned this when …

7
I learned this when Sir Mark taught us what and how to fix when something goes
wrong.

This learning matters …

Basic Computer Hardware and Software Servicing with Troubleshooting

You may think that the only thing you need to know about computers is how to turn
them on, but there's a lot more than that. In fact, when you're dealing with your
computer's hardware and software, it's important to know how to troubleshoot
problems.

When your computer stops working correctly, it can be hard to tell what the problem
is at first--especially if you're not familiar with the ins and outs of computers. But once
you've got some experience under your belt and have learned what kinds of problems
are common in different situations, you'll be able to spot those problems quickly!

Reflection No. 4 | Software and Productivity Tools
By 4C-

Learning Objective: (This is where you state the outcome/objective in which you examined
your syllabus)

Learn how to use software and productivity tools to be more productive, efficient, and
organized.

I learned that …

I learned that software and productivity tools can help you be more productive.
I learned that there are many ways to be more productive, but the most important
thing is to focus on what you want to accomplish.

I've been using [product name] for years now, and it's helped me to keep track of all
my deadlines, tasks, and projects. It's also helped me stay organized with my inboxes
and calendar so that I can focus on what matters most.

I learned this when …

I learned this when Sir Mark discussed the topic and we performed/submitted a
practical exercise training and assessment. and Sir Mark told us how it could help us
especially in business.

This learning matters …

Learning how to use software and productivity tools is one of the most important
9
skills you can learn in your life.
It's not just about being able to use the software, it's about learning how to think like a
computer. It's about learning how to approach problems from a different perspective
that doesn't involve human interaction. And it's about learning how to make yourself
more productive by using these tools instead of wasting time on things that don't
matter

Reflection No. 5 | Data Communication and Computer

Networks
By: 4C-

Learning Objective: (This is where you state the outcome/objective in which you examined
your syllabus)

The objective of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the

theoretical and practical aspects of data communication and computer networks. This
includes an understanding of how computers communicate with each other, how they
are used in business, what they can do for us, and how they work.

I learned that …

Data Communication and Computer Networks

Data Communication is the process of transferring data between two devices, such as
a computer and a printer. It can also be used to transfer data between computers
within a network. The term "communication" refers to the act of sharing information
between different entities in order to achieve some goal. In a computer network, this
goal may be to exchange files or perform other tasks.
Computer Networks are interconnected computer systems that operate by sharing
resources such as hardware, software and personnel. They allow users from different
locations to communicate with each other through shared resources such as servers or
printers on their networks faster than they could if they were using just one machine
at a time (also known as "local area networks").

I learned this when …

10
I learned this when Sir Mark discussed the topic and we performed/submitted a practical
exercise training and assessment.

This learning matters …

Learning to communicate in a digital world is a must. The world is changing, and you
need to keep up.

Data Communication and Computer Networks is one of the most important courses in
your curriculum because it teaches you how to use computers and the internet. You'll
learn how to use an operating system, search for information online, create websites
and more!

This course will help you become more competitive in today's job market because
employers are looking for people who can communicate effectively with other people
online.

Reflection No. 6 | Cyber Security
By: 4C-

Learning Objective: (This is where you state the outcome/objective in which you examined
your syllabus)

The objective of this lesson is to understand the basics of cyber security, including
what it is and why it's important.

I learned that …

I learned that cyber security is a complex, ever-changing field. It's important to stay
up to date on the latest threats and methods of attack, but it can also be difficult to
understand how such threats are formed, how they spread, and who's behind them.
There are many ways to keep you safe online. You can take steps like using a VPN,
antivirus software, and ad blockers on your computer or mobile device. You can also
choose to limit your access to sensitive websites or services by using an account
manager that restricts access based on geo-location and other factors.

I learned this when …

Mr. Samson taught us how to prevent unauthorized access and maintain a safe
network.

12
This learning matters …

Cyber security is a critical topic for all of us. It has the potential to impact our ability
to communicate freely, to conduct commerce and trade, and even to access
information that we need to be successful.

As human beings, we are constantly connecting with people and things around us
through our phones and computers. We use these devices every day to interact with
those around us, but they can also be used as a weapon against us if they become
compromised by a malicious actor.

Reflection No. 7 | Fourth Industrial Revolution

Technologies
By: 4C-

Learning Objective: (This is where you state the outcome/objective in which you examined
your syllabus)

The Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies are a collection of new innovations that
will change the way we work, live, and learn. These technologies include:

-Augmented reality (AR)

-Artificial intelligence (AI)

-Block chain

-Cyber security

-Digital twins

-Internet of things (Iota)

-Robotics

I learned that …

I learned that the Fourth Industrial Revolution is a term used to describe the next
13
major technological revolution. It is a time of great change, and it has been happening
for years now. I have noticed this change in my everyday life, as well as in my study,
which is why it's important that I pay attention to the trends of this new era.

It's about connected devices that can learn, adapt and make decisions on their own.
It's about sensors that collect data and send it back to a cloud where it can be
analysed. It's about machines that can talk to each other, so they can work together
instead of alone. And it's about making those machines smarter and more capable
than ever before—so they can work with humans rather than against them.
It might sound like a simple thing, but we need to be aware of what's happening
around us if we want to make sure that we're able to adapt and thrive in this new
world.

I learned this when …

Mr. Samson told us to prepare and give us time to debate about the pros and cons of
the 4th Industrial Revolution.

This learning matters …

The fourth industrial revolution is a time of great change. It's a time when technology
is becoming more integrated into our lives, and we're seeing the rise of new industries
like machine learning and artificial intelligence.

But you can't just assume that these technologies are going to help us solve all of our
problems. We have to be careful about how we use them.

The danger of relying on technology too much is that it can make us lazy—and that's
not something any of us want! We need to use new tools in ways that enable us to
grow as people, not as consumers.
