The immediate attention of the Chief Executive Officers, Zilla Praja


Parishads and District Panchayat Officers, is invited to the reference cited
wherein the Government has accorded permission to the Commissioner,
Panchayat Raj & Rural Development to designate the staff under the control of
PR&RD Department as Public lnformation Officers, Assistant Public
Information Officers and First Appellate Authorities in the Village Secretariat(s)
of the State under RTI Act, 2005, to provide information to the Public under
RTI Act 2005.

Accordingly, the following functionaries, who are under the control of


PR&RD Department, are designated as information officers and appellate
authority under RTI Act-2005.
