Janeiro
Río de Janeiro is divided into 34 Administrative Regions
Its capital is the homonymous Rio of Janeiro. It is located in
the eastern part of the Southeast región.
The Río of Janeiro limits to the west with the state of minas
Gerais, to the North with the state of Espiritu Santo, to the
South with the State of São Paulo and to the East with the
Atlantic Ocean.
It is one of the main economic, cultural and financial resource centers of
the country, and is internationally known for its cultural icons and
landscapes, such as the Sugar Loaf, the Christ the Redeemer statue (one of
the seven wonders of the modern world), the Copacabana and Ipanema
beaches, the Maracanã stadium, Tijuca National Park (the largest urban
forest in the world), Quinta da Boa Vista, Paquetá Island, the New Year's
Eve parties in Copacabana and the celebration of Carnival.
What is it?
The Christ the Redeemer or Cristo del Corcovado is an Art Deco statue representing
Jesus of Nazareth, with open arms, showing the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Why go?
It offers a detailed view of the city of Rio de Janeiro, and it is more a tourist attraction
than a religious one, being the Christ the Redeemer host, in addition, to dozens of
heads of state, religious leaders and famous world personalities, who do not leave
Brazil without visiting this monument.
What is it?
The Sugar Loaf (in Portuguese, Pão de Açúcar) is a rock located in Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil, at the mouth of Guanabara Bay on a peninsula jutting out into the
Atlantic Ocean.
Why go?
Because there is a cable car that runs a route divided into several sections: the
first leads from Vermehla beach to Morro de Urca, with Christ the Redeemer as
a backdrop.
It was founded on November 17, 1895, Rio de Janeiro, State of
Rio de Janeiro, BrazilIn Rio de Janeiro, Flamengo have this very
popular appeal, they are considered by many to be the people's
team and have the biggest crowd in Rio de Janeiro. Flamengo
gave Brazilian soccer unmatched stars like Zico E Júnior.
