e public especially the youth about the global disease: Sexually Transmitted Disease. To promote programs of the government regarding Sexually Transmitted Diseases cause, prevention, care and treatment. To bring changes in safer sex knowledge, attitudes, intentions, and peer norms among members of the population especially the youth. Rationale: As the world continue to unleash its mysteries, these passing days become more critical. Lots of diseases spread in our environment that causes a threat to mankind. Diseases that can destroy and kill human life and one of these is the horrifying sexually transmitted disease (STD). What is STD? Where these come from? These are the major question that the DZUB-UNLIMITED BROADCASTING campaign program: TRUST NO ONE: PROTECT YOURSELF will seek to answer. The purpose of this program is to further understand and inform the public about STD by providing a resource to assist in the implementation, and evaluation of STD prevention and control programs. This will attempt to bring about changes in safer sex knowledge, attitudes, intentions, and peer norms among members of the population especially the youth. This will also establish referral arrangements for STD prevention activities with appropriate service providers and at the same time it will collaborate with other groups such as reproductive health, schools, corrections facilities, and religious organizations. TRUST NO ONE: PROTECT YOURSELF aims to establish ongoing interaction with all government agencies in the prevention and awareness of the people about this global disease. What is STD? Where these come from? And are you sure your safe from getting out of this disease? Sexually transmitted diseases o STDs are some of the most infectious diseases in the world and even in the whole Bicol Region. It is an infectious disease that can be passed from one person to another. And can be spread via sexual intercourse and other related activities. But whats cause of this disease. Lets hear it from our expert. Miss Lie Ballesteros, Head of the Social Hygiene Office of Legazpi City Health Centre. Questions: What are the causes of STD? What are the common viral STDS?

Usually, infections caused by a virus cannot be cured but in some cases they can be controlled. Parasitic infections can be treated with medications or over-the-counter drugs. Bacterial infections can be treated with antibiotics. Three of the most common STDs that are caused by viruses are AIDS, genital herpes and genital warts. But what are the differences of this three.

AIDS is a sexually transmitted disease that is caused by the HIV virus. The virus destroys the ability to fight infection. It spread primarily during sexual activity and through the shared needles used by drug users. Like in tattoo and blood donation. Genital Herpes are cause by a Herpes simplex Virus or HSV. It is a painful blister to open sores in the genital area. Human Papilloma virus or HPV causes Genital warts which are related to skin warts. It is usually a small hard painless bump in the genital area that may grow and develop if not treated. INTERVIEW CLIP: 3 MINS So, how this disease can be treated or prevented?
