"mother PC boa rd ") correctly. For details about the "TAl TO G CARD" (hereafter referred to as "G card"), see
the separated game instruction manual for the "TAITO G CARD."

Persons who have exper i ences in arcade-game mach i ne main tenance and regu lar ly carry oul the
insta llation . assembly and maintenance chec ks of games, and who r eplace paris and consumable items
under supervision of the game owne rs or the shop management staff.

• Engineer
Persons who work for amusement game machine manu f acturers and are responsible for the design,
product inspection, and maintenance of amusement game machi nes, or those who have knowledge of
electrical, electronic , and mechanical engin eering that is equiva lent to the knowledge of an enginee ring
high school graduate , and who regularly main ta in and repai r amuseme nt game machines.

• Player .
Persons who play games at facilities and shops whe re arcade am'u sement game machines are installed.

• Gallery
Persons who look at games at facilities and shops where arcade amusement game machines are installed.

Cautions for safety

• Make sure to turn OFF the powe r switch before pulling out or
putting in the connector or the G card from the game (mother)
PC board , or changing the DIP switches settings.

• The game (mother) PC board may be damaged by a static


electricity, since it consists of preCision parts.

• Never insert cards other than the G card into the G card

• Turn OFF the power switch althe game machine before


installation.

• Before removing the game (mother) PC board from the game


machine, turn OFF the pawe', switch.

• Be careful not to injure yourself on the soldered side of the


game (mother) PC board during installation.

• Make sure to turn OFF the power switch before pulling out or
putting in the connector or the G card from the game (mother)


PC board, or changing the DIP switches settings.

• The game (mother) PC board may be damaged by a stal ic


electricity, since it consists of precision parts.

• Do not drop the game (mother) PC board, give it a strong


shock on, or touch it with wet hands. If may cause a problem
or accident.

• Before inserting a G card, make sure to turn OFF the power


switch first, and then insert It into the G card insert slot slowly
and securely while making sure of the direction. Otherwise, it
may cause a problem or accident. Inserting it forcibly may
cause a problem.

• Do not make the G card insert slot wet or dirty. It may cause a
problem or accident.

• Make sure to adjust the voltage.

• If you adjust the output voltage o f the switching regulator


higher than the standard value, the game (mother) PC board
or the G card may be damaged.

• Never insert cards other than the G card into the G card
insert slot.it may cause a problem or accident.

• Do not drop the G card,give it a strong shock on, or touch or


disassemble it with wet hands. It may cause a problem or

• Do not connect P and P1 connectors used for our EGRET 29
game machine. It may cause a problem or accident.

maintenance will be regarded as unauthorized modification .
We will nol repair any modified machines. Never modify the
machine. II may cause a problem or accident.

• Turn OFF the power switch of the enclosure before


performing maintenance. .

• Before removing the game (mother) PC board from the


enclosure, turn OFF the power switch.

• Maintenance 01 the game (mother) board should be


performed by arcade maintenance men.

By installing the G card (game), the mother PC board becomes Ihe game PC board. By installing this

Chapter 3 Maintenance

ACAUTION
• Use of parts other than genuine Taito parts in the
maintenance will be regarded as unauthorized modification.
We will not repair any modified machines.Never modify the
machine. It may cause a problem or accident.

• Turn OFF the power switch of the enclosure before


performing maintenance.

• Before removing the game (mo ther) PC board from the


enclosure, turn OFF the power switch.

• Maintenance of the game (mother) boa rd should be


performed by arcade maintenance men.

• Be ca reful not to injure yourself on the soldered side of the


game (mother) PC board when working with it.

• Make sure to turn OFF the P9wer switch before pulling out or
putting in the connector or the G card from the game (mother)
PC board, or changing the DIP swi tches settings.

• The game (mother) PC board may be damaged by a static


electricity, since it consists of precision parts.

• Do not drop the game (mother) PC board, give it a strong


shock on, or touch it with wet hands. It may cause a problem
or accident.

and keep it in safe place .
