[arr Ni New Dethi, the 18th April, 2018 G.S.R. 124—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in supersession ofthe Civil Aviation Department, Sub-ordinae offices (Group °C’ posts) Recruitment Rules, 1972, in so far as they relate to the posts of Head Clerk and Stenographer Grado I, excopt as respect things done or omitted to be done before such supersession. the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to Group “BY posts in the Regional Offices of Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, namely:- 1, Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Sub-ordinate offices, Group °B’ Poss, Recruitment Rules, 2018. (2) They shall come into force on the date oftheir publication in the Oficial Guzete. 2 Application. - Those rules shall apply to the posts specie inthe Schedule annexed to these rules. 3. _ Number of poss, classification and level inthe pay matrix, ~‘The numberof the said posts, their elasifcation ‘and level inthe pay matrix shall be as specified in columns (2 to (4) ofthe Schedule enclosed to these rules. 4. Method of recruitment, age-limit and other qualifications, ete. ~The method of reeruitment, age limit, (qualifications and other maters relating to the said poss shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) ofthe aforesaid Schedule 5. Disqualification. - No person, = (2) who-has entered into or contracted a mariage wih a person having a spouse living: or (©) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted « marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment tothe said posts Provided thatthe Central Government may. if satisfied that such marrage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party tothe marriage and that there are cther grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation ofthis ule. 6. Power to relax. ~ Where the Central Government is of the opinion that itis necessary or expedient so to do, it ‘may, by order, for reasons tobe recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission, relax any ofthe provisions ofthese rules with respec to any class or category of persons 7. Saving, — Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, ex-Servicemen and other special categories of persons in secordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to ime in this regard.
