Statement of long term goals:
After carefully considering my attitude, interest, the nature of my training and my ultimate professional ambition, I
have decided to pursue Master Degree in Physics; in my fields of interest is Plasma physics, especially in
experimental areas, ultimately leading to a career in teaching and research. As a Statement of purpose of my
graduate study, I described here in my academic background, research interest and career goals.
Academic achievements:
I have well in academics at every stage of my education. In the 12 years of my schooling, I have always been
considering good student among the other class fellows. I stood 12th out of 250 candidates in a highly competitive
examination for admission to the undergraduate program at the Physics Kohat University of Science and Technology,
Pakistan. I have excellent skill to continue my master study in plasma physics in Huazhong University of Science and
Technology, China.
Brief description of field of study:
The excellent undergraduate program at the Kohat University of Science and Technology, Pakistan not only provide
me with a strong foundation of understanding the basics laws and rules of physics but also exposed me to various
fields of physics like Nuclear physics, Quantum physics, electromagnetic theory, particle physics etc. I have always
been interested in research related to plasma physics. At Kohat University, this led to an inclination towards deeper
into physics. I substantiated my knowledge in these areas by choosing graduate level electives in Bachelor of Physics.
I completed my bachelor of commerce project “finance, accounting and human resource management”. My
bachelor research project mainly focused on understanding of basic in plasma physics.
Seminar / workshops
I have been keen interested to join seminar/workshops regarding my field of interest I join various seminar and
workshop at our University which flourish my research attitude. I present our research work in seminar hall in
semester of my graduation.
Teaching and work experience:
Upon completion of Bachelor degree I went through teaching in “The City School” Kohat campus. This experience
further open my mind towards basics in Physics. I have delivered lectures on routine base up to 1 and half years
which gives me experience and knowledge of presentation and delivering lectures During my teaching phrase
“Hyderabad English language center Academy”. I completed this project with a great enthusiasms, the time my mind
open and admire to get involve in Plasma physics related research. For the purpose, North-west Polyclinical
University, China awarded “CSC scholarship” for Masters Studies.
Experience in field of study
Through my experiences in University have provided me with a strong foundation in my fields of interest, a good
graduate program is necessary not only to increase my knowledge in these fields but to module me into a good
researcher. I am fully aware of the hard work and preservance required for a successful career in research and I
believe that I have the attitude and drive to meet the challenge.
Why China for study:
When I born and get Young, I heard golden words about China and their progress in every field. I had found
uncounted contributions of China towards prosperity in the world. China is world superpower by their strength; this
strength of China is avail through development in education, Science and Technology. I ever listen these words
about Pakistan China friendship “Deep as the seas, High as the mountain” give me proud and up my head in front of
all. Recent visit of China president XI jinping to Pakistan golden words “I feel as I am going to visit the home of my
own brother”. Chinese people always shows love and affections towards Pakistan, as a Pakistani I have love, respect
and great wish to continue my Master studies in P.R China. China and Chinese people always attack me for some
reasons, a Brotherhood relation with China from decades of time, there language and colorful culture, ancient and
modern architectures, their development in education, Science and Technology. All these reasons put together
make China as ideal place for my master studies.
Why School of Physics, Chongqing University, China
Chongqing University is considered top rank in the world and occupies the place among top 350 world universities.
The master program and management and finance college, public finance and School of Management P.R China
which is fully studied to my goals. Finance and human resource management are strong areas of research at
Chongqing University, China. I have found the faculty and research work to be quite impressive. I feel that to be
associated with this group would stand me in good stead throughout my research career. I have also been
impressed by the facilities available at Chongqing University for research and education. I am confident that given
the opportunity, I will be able to make significant contribution to the ongoing research at Chongqing University.
I corresponded with professor Dr. JIN,FAN from department of school of Physics, Chongqing University, whose
encouraging reply reinforced my decision to apply to Chongqing University. I look forward to joining Chongqing
University, China as a Master study at your estimated department.
