Youtube Ads
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The different kinds of YouTube ads
1. Skippable ads are also known as TrueView ads: These are ads that don’t force
people to watch. These can be shown in two ways: ‘In-stream’ and ‘In-display.’.
Advertisers only pay for TrueView ads when users watch for at least 30 seconds,
watch an entire short video, or interact with an ad in some way, such as clicking on
a call-to-action
a. In-stream: These are pre-roll ads shown at the start, during, and at the end
of video content.
b. In-display: These are ads that are shown in the search listings, related
videos section, or as video overlays.
2. Bumper in-stream ads: Non-skippable video ads play before a viewer’s chosen
video and must be less than 6 seconds long.
3. Non-skippable in-stream ads: Ads appear pre-, mid-, or post-roll while viewing
partner content up to 15-20 seconds long
4. Outstream Ads: Mobile Only Ads for Websites & Apps Outside Youtube
5. Ad sequence: Ads Automation & Sequence / Story for Impression, View & Skip
Events
6. Sponsored card ads: Ads appear within videos as small call-to-action (CTA) popups
7. Overlay ads: Banner ads (Image/Text) that appear along the bottom of videos
8. Display ads: Ads appear in the right-hand sidebar above the suggested videos list
