LOU: United Nation’s Day is celebrated worldwide every October 24, in
honor of the inter/governmental organization promoting human rights,
social progress, and world peace.
JON: The United Nations celebrates 78th Anniversary last Tuesday,
October 24, vowing for “Rebuilding Trust and Reigniting Solidarity”.
Above all, it noted in a spirit of determination to have divisions, upon
relations and build world peace.
LOU: In many Philippine Schools, United Nations Day is celebrated by
having learners dress – up in their national costumes or traditional
clothing of different nations, and holding lessons on cultural diversity.
JON: At EMP, this is our own way of celebrating United Nations in this
world. At this moment, may we request everyone to please stand for the
Prayer by Teacher Joy Valeen Casumpang, singing of the Philippine
National Anthem, on the record to be conducted by Teacher Analyn
Castor.
LOU: And please remain standing for the singing of the Pototan Hymn to be
