organized by AICF on 4th August 2022 in Commemorating
44TH CHESS OLYMPIAD which scheduled to be held at
Chennai from 29th July to 10th August 2022.

Regulations
System of Play: The tournament will be played under the Swiss System of FIDE Blitz rules.
Rate of Play: 3 minutes each, plus 2 seconds increment per move from move one..
AICF player Applicable to all Indian Players. AICF Player registration is compulsory for all players.
Registration: AICF Player Registration fee is Rs. 250/- for the year 2022-2023
As per latest AICF regulations all AICF registrations will be accepted only through
online. Players/Arbiters registration should be done well before the start of the

Mobile phones and wrist watches (any type) NOT ALLOWED inside tournament hall during
Electronic Devices:
game, If it is found player having such device during the game he/she shall lose the game.

Protests, if any, against the decision of the Chief Arbiter shall be made in writing with
Protests: a PROTEST FEE OF RS. 1000/- within 15 minutes of the occurrence of the incident to
the appeals committee. The protest fee will be refunded if the appeal is upheld.
An Appeals Committee comprising of five members will be formed at the players
Appeals Committee: meeting. The DECISION of the appeals committee is FINAL and binding on all players
concerned.
Withdrawals: A player may withdraw at any stage of the event, after informing the Chief Arbiter in WRITING.
Players have to make their OWN ARRANGEMENT for stay, food facility is available at venue on
Boarding & Lodging: payment basis.
