 PH tourism given a boost with “VISIT THE PHILIPPINES 2015”


 The Visit the Philippines 2015 campaign has begun, and the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh
has informed the Filipino community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of this.

international tourist arrivals to the Philippines were recorded from January to October 2014
or 2.28% increase from the same months of the previous year.

Department of Tourism (DOT) has launched Visit the Phili ppines Again 2016.

working with tour operators and travel agencies to provide incentives to returning
travelers to the Philippines.
 DOT and its Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) have teamed up with the private sector
and local government units to promise a bigger, greater, and more exciting line-up of
events and tourism product offerings that highlight the nation's competitive advantage
as a destination, in addition to the special packages for visitors. These significant
occasions include the 2016 Ironman 70.3 Asia Pacific Championship, MTV Music
Evolution 2016, Routes Asia 2016, Madrid Fusion Manila 2016, ASEAN Tourism Forum
2016, and the Travel Blog Exchange (TBEX).
