Reflection

Task: Research and present on the Turkish government system

Date: November 6-16

Duration: 14.5 hours

Summary:

I spent a total of 14.5 hours researching and preparing a presentation on the Turkish government
system. My research focused on the history, structure, and voting process of the Turkish government.
I also analyzed the fairness of the government system by considering factors such as representation,
participation, and responsiveness. I created a detailed outline and presentation content, gathered visual
aids, and practiced my presentation delivery.

Why did I do this? and Why did I do it like that?

I did this to learn more about the Turkish government system and to share my knowledge with others.
I chose this topic because I am interested in international politics and I thought it would be a
challenging and rewarding task. I researched the topic using a variety of sources, including books,
articles, and websites. I also consulted with my teacher and classmates for feedback on my
presentation.

What did I think was difficult? Why?

I found the research process to be the most difficult part of this task. There was a lot of information to
gather and synthesize, and it was sometimes difficult to find reliable sources. I also found the analysis
of the fairness of the government system to be challenging, as there are many different perspectives
on this issue.

What did I enjoy about it? Why?

I enjoyed learning about the Turkish government system and sharing my knowledge with others. I
also found the research process to be stimulating and rewarding. I was particularly interested in
learning about the governance and the different opinions about the government.

What did I learn?

I learned a lot about the Turkish government system, including its history, structure, and voting
process. I also learned about the challenges that the government faces. This helped me grow my
knowledge politics in general, which will definitely come in handy later.

What did I find challenging? Why?

I found it challenging to remain objective in my analysis of the Turkish government system. There are
many different perspectives on this issue, and it was difficult to avoid expressing my own personal
opinions.
What will I do differently next time?

Next time, I will make sure to spend more time researching the topic and gathering a wider range of
sources. I will also try to be more objective in my analysis and avoid expressing my own personal
opinions.

Evaluation

I would rate my performance on this task as a 6. I am pleased with the amount of research I conducted
and the quality of my presentation. However, I could have improved my objectivity and analysis of
the Turkish government system.
