Reporting for work

Workers must start and finish their shifts at the times indicated on the designated days. If you
intend to be absent or think you will be arriving late for work, you have to notify your boss at least two
hours ahead of the starting time of your scheduled shift and get their approval to go home early. Both
missing appointments and tardiness will be noted. If you consistently arrive late or absenteeism beyond
an acceptable threshold, you may face penalties and even dismissal. When you neglect to notify your
boss or show on time for duties for a few times in a row, it is going to be deemed your own resignation
which means you will be dismissed from the paycheck. We expect a period of two weeks of notice to
have been provided and completed for yourself to be considered as potential rehires whenever you
decide to leave our company.

Clocking In

Workers must arrive for duty as intended; tardy or morning arrivals aren't going to be taken into
account for determining wages. The person in charge is going to be the only one to decide whether or
not to make an exception, and they will ask the staff member to arrive ahead of schedule or remain late.

Appearance Standards

Making sure every member of our team is tidy and presentable is crucial to giving our clients an
unforgettable visit. Personnel appearances at Taste Temptations INC. represent the Taste Temptations
trademark and Taste Temptations dining establishments, and they can have a significant impact on the
quality of food served. Several rules regarding appearances ought to be followed by all restaurant staff
members. Yet, there could need to be an exemption due to the rules that pertain to the establishment. It
is your duty to ensure that the company complies with the law. If you are required by law to deviate
from this norm in any way, you will not violate that portion of the standard.

Uniform Requirements

 Taste Temptation Uniform Shirt


 Khaki Pants (not fitted jeans)
 White Sneakers
 Name Badge

Uniform Appearance

 Uniform must be clean, well-fitted, and follows the company’s guidelines


 Keep the hair tidy
 Khaki pants must be well-fitted and not have rips, stains or any decorative items
 Name badges must be visible

The following are NOT acceptable inside the company:

 Leggings
 Skinny jeans
 Skirts
 Shorts
Employee Appearance

 Any length of hair (which includes buns) that reaches beyond the armpit needs to be pulled
back using a band or clip.
 Bearded men that reach the shoulders are prohibited.
 Vulgar tattoos are not acceptable. Severe tattoos need to be covered up.
 Facial piercings are not going to be permitted. Any form of jewelry or hoop piercing the nose
is prohibited.
 The length of your fingernails will depend on how well you can carry out your duties.
 A name badge, clean uniform shirt, cap, appropriate shoes, socks or hose, and appropriate
black pants are all part of a complete uniform. Jeans, cargo pants, tight-fitting pants,
sweat/athletic pants, and yoga pants are not acceptable types of pants. It will be your duty
to wear a wrinkle-free, spotless uniform to work. No changes to the uniform's style are
permitted, but pants may be made to reach the top of the shoe. Bring any pants that require
hemming to the office so we can lay them out for repair at no cost to you.

Employees who don't fulfill appearance requirements won't be permitted to carry out their duties till the
issue is fixed. If appearance requirements as mentioned above are not met, there may be a series of
disciplinary actions leading up through and including dismissal.

Break Policy

When working four hours or more, you may be granted a thirty-minute break. If a minor works
for five and a half hours or longer, they must take breaks. The worker must follow the staff member's
lunch policy and clock out before being requested to take a break. The length of the break is limited to
30 minutes or less. The person in charge might ask you to come in earlier from the break because of an
extraordinary situation. It will schedule additional 30-minute rest at a more suitable time if this occurs. If
the break was shorter than fifteen minutes, the amount you had previously consumed will be deducted
from your timecard, which means you will be compensated for the duration of the break.

Smoke Policy

Our company's premises is smoke-free throughout. You are allowed to use electronic cigarettes,
smoke, or chew tobacco in your car or in the corral during your dinner break. It is strictly forbidden to
smoke, chew tobacco, or use electronic cigarettes anyplace else on our property. You will not be
permitted to go outdoors to use electronic cigarettes, chew tobacco, or smoke in your car or in the corral
after the lobby doors have locked.

Workplace Behavior

 Any patient receiving care at our facility for an accident connected to their line of work may be
subject to a test for both alcohol and drugs. Refusing to take the examination might result in
termination or other disciplinary measures.
 When you visit the clinic for the first appointment, you will still be logged in. Your additional
treatment must be scheduled at your own convenience. For follow-up care, you won't receive
payment.
 Using substances such as alcohol or drugs while in influence of anything may result in
disciplinary sanctions. Whenever the way we act lead us to believe that you have been impaired
by drugs or alcohol, you might be required to come with us to the clinic so we may test you.
Termination will result from refusal.
 Our workplace is still pleasant. Any behavior that denigrates or is hostile toward someone is not
acceptable to us.
