The study of business law is important because it helps us
familiarize with the laws that govern businesses, which can also help us
to avoid potential legal problems. And it provides a foundation for
understanding the legal system.

2. What does ignorance of law excuses no one mean?


“Ignorance of law excuses no one” this means that everyone is
responsible for knowing and obeying the law, regardless of whether they
are aware of it. This is why it's important to educate yourself on the laws
that apply to you and your business.

3. What does family an institution mean?


"Family an institution" this means that the family is a basic social
institution which public policy cherishes and protects, like it provides
support and care for its members. Families can be small or large, and
they play a vital role in society.

4. What determines the legal personality of a person?


It can be determine the legal personality of a person through
physical or moral, real or juridical and legal being susceptible of rights
and obligations or of being the subject of legal relations.
There are also a number of factors that determine the legal
personality of a person, including their age, mental capacity, and
criminal history.

5. Distinguish prima facie evidence from conclusive evidence. Give an


example.
Prima facie evidence is evidence that suggests something is true
which, standing alone, unexplained or uncontracted, establish the
proposition or conclusion to support that which is introduce. While
conclusive evidence proves something is true, which is incontrovertible
as a matter of law. An example of prima facie evidence would be a
witness testimony that someone saw the defendant commit a crime.
Conclusive evidence would be the defendant's confession to the crime.

excuses no one from compliance therewith. Therefore, evasion of law
would be facilitated and the administration of justice would be defeated,
if person could successfully plead ignorance of the law to escape the legal
consequences of their acts, or to excuse non-performance of their legal
duties. The rule, therefore, is dictated not only by expediency but also by
necessity.

Business law is important because it helps you spot potential legal
issues as they come up, make better decisions, and know when to seek
legal help. It is good to know the laws in order to know what is your right
and privilege in this country or even to other countries.

This phrase means that even if someone is not aware of a law, they
are still expected to comply with it. ignorance of the law is not a valid
excuse for breaking it. You can’t defend your actions by arguing you
didn’t know they were illegal, even if you honestly did not realize you
were breaking the law.

In general, the family is seen as a significant social institution and
the center of much of a person's social activity. It can be classified as
nuclear (parents and children) or extended (married couple and their
children) (encompassing other relatives).

Any person, object, or entity with legal personality is able to engage
in legal action, including but not limited to signing contracts, holding
property, having the capacity to perform certain things, being sued, etc.
A person or thing has legal obligations if they have legal personality.

example.
Prima facie evidence is described as evidence that, absent proof to
the contrary or rebuttal, suffices to establish a fact or a claim. Contrarily,
conclusive evidence is characterized as proof that cannot be refuted or
disputed.
Here are a few examples of prima facie and conclusive proof;

Something like a confession or firsthand testimony would qualify


as prima facie evidence. This kind of evidence is nonetheless seen as
powerful enough to support a claim or allegation even when it can be
overruled or refuted by more evidence.
Anything like a video clip of the incident or a DNA match would be
considered conclusive evidence. This kind of evidence cannot be refuted
or disputed, and it usually leads to a conviction without the need for
additional research.
