period (.) and typically have a comma (,) after them.

restaurants.
 B: Both restaurants are good. (not the both
restaurants)
 B: Neither restaurant is expensive.
 B: We can go to either restaurant. I don’t mind.
(= one or the other, it doesn’t matter which)
