Satyanarayana Puja Stories

Sage Sūta narrated that once, Śaunaka and other sages approached him in Naimiṣāraṇya forest and asked how to fulfill their desires through vrata or tapasya. Sūta replied that once, Nārada had similarly asked Viṣṇu. He then recounts Nārada's journey where he saw beings suffering in various worlds due to past karma. now? Come home.” Hearing this, her husband became
happy, and performed the pūjā of satya-deva.

which frees mankind from sorrow. Especially in this kali-
yuga, it conferrs all fruits. Some call him “time”, and others
call him “Lord”. Some call him “Satyanārāyaṇa” and other
call him “Satyadeva”. He has many forms, and bestows
everyone’s wishes.
