The Matterhorn is a mountain of the Alps, straddling the
main watershed and border between Switzerland and
Italy. It is a large, near-symmetric pyramidal peak in the
extended Monte Rosa area of the Pennine Alps, whose
summit is 4,478 metres high, making it one of the highest
summits in the Alps and Europe. Wikipedia

Fantastic view of most of the year around snowed
top of mountain. It’s amazing even viewed at the
bottom of the mountain. The view of the city at night
is heart-melted.

It’s beautiful!!! Better to take train to go up because
you can stop anywhere you like….coffee, pictures or
activities. Start earlier as you can because the shop
close mostly at 4pm. It’s good for the whole family.
