Engage 1. Conduct review on the different sources of water through
question and answer.
2. Proceed by asking them, “How important is water to our daily
activities?” (It is needed in doing our activities, etc.)
Say: Let us learn more its importance as we perform the activities
Explore Group Activity:
Why I am Important?
(Please see Activity Sheet 1)

Explain Group presentation..


Ask the following questions to the class.
1. Ask: what is given importance in the different presentations?
(The different uses of water.)
2. What are our daily activities that make use of water? (Taking a
bath, washing clothes, watering plants, etc.)
3. Do you think we can live without water? (No)
4. Why do you think so? (Because almost all our daily activities
need water.)
5. What will happen if we ran out of water? (We can’t perform
our activities well.)
6. What else will be affected if there is no water? (Farm, plants
and animals.)
7. How should we use water? (Wisely and properly)
8. How will you encourage others to conserve water especially in
school? (Not to waste water. Use only what is needed.)
Discussion on the importance of water,
(power point presentation)
Elaborate Watch video about the importance of water

Now you know what will happen to our daily activities if there is not
enough water, what about to our environment? What else will be
affected and in the end will suffer the most if we will not do something
to protect conserve it?

Group Activity
1. Set classroom standards first before giving group activities.
2. Retain previous grouping as much as possible.
3. Have each group work on the following activities;
Group 1 – Role play- Act out the uses of water in our daily life.
Group 2 – Collage making- Explain uses of water in our daily
activities.
Group 3 – Poem making- Write a short poem about the importance
of water in our daily life.
Group 4 – Rap- Explain the importance of water in our daily activities
through rap
