Ring Load

1) Start-up proceeding for new rings involves securely fixing the rings horizontally and concentrically to the spindle. Bräcker rings do not require cleaning as the conservation material helps startup. 2) For TITAN rings, the traveller must build up a lubrication film during startup depending on fiber material and yarn count. For regular fibers, no spindle speed reduction is needed, only shortened initial traveller change intervals. 3) A running-in program smoothes and passivates the ring raceway through applied travellers while building up a necessary lubrication film. Spindle speed must be reduced for the first 10-20 traveller changes depending on fiber, yarn count, and final speed.
