Use the digital multimeter for making continuity checks or for measuring voltage. The 7x-1710
Multimeter Probe is used to measure the voltage without disconnecting the connector. The probe
cables are pushed into the back of the connector along the wire. The 8T-8726 Adapter Cable has a
breakout of three pins. The adapter cable is used for measurements in the sensor circuits.
Note: For Cat® electrical circuits: except for harness tests, use continuity tester 8T-0500 Continuity
Tester, or voltage tester 5P-7277 Voltage Tester.
