Required Knowledge/Skill Areas
Good understanding of TCP/IP & OSI model.
Should be able to configure Layer2 and Layer3 network devices such as routers, firewalls, switches.
Good knowledge of Firewalls, VPN, Network Access Control Systems & Network Virtualization
In-depth understanding of routing protocols, QoS, and network traffic engineering
Knowledge of securing computing infrastructure through enforcement of cyber security policies.
Should be able to produce professional diagrams and documentation for systems/network and operational best practices,
standards, policies and procedures.
Should be able to monitor network devices & servers through monitoring tools such as Solarwinds, Netflow Analyzer, Grafana,
Zabbix.
Excellent scripting skills in Bash, Python, PowerShell
Strong knowledge of Cloud and Virtualization technologies such as Openstack, VMware ESXi, KVM
Knowledge of job schedulers/ workload managers such as SLURM, HTCondor is a plus
Familiarity with data handling and processing platforms such as Spark, Hadoop, Storm.
Working knowledge of one or more high-level programming languages such as C++, Python.
Familiarity with application services management such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, Apache Web Server, Squid, Microsoft Exchange,
Radius, Samba, SVN, GIT
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SERIAL NO 1, 3 & 5
Expertise and experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and allied fields/tools including Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP),
Computer Vision, Data Science, Predictive Analytics etc.
Additional certification/diploma in AI and allied fields and tools
Research projects and publications in the AI related areas
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SERIAL NO 1, 3 & 5
Development of state-of-the-art AI products and solutions following the complete life cycle of the AI-based projects including Requirement Analysis, Problem Identification &
Categorization, Design, Development, Verification & Validation and Deployment.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
3rd Division is not acceptable in the entire academic career.
Preferably first class academic career, however one second division (50% marks) is allowed.
First class degree means a minimum of 60% marks for annual system or CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 for semester system and second class means a minimum of 50 %
marks for annual system or CGPA 2.0-2.49 out of 4.0 for semester system.
Maximum age limit on closing date of advertisement is 35 years. However, relaxation in age may be given as per rules.
Candidates must have obtained educational degrees from the institutions / universities duly recognized by Higher Education Commission and registered with
Pakistan Engineering Council (For Engineering Degree).
Experience will only be considered if acquired after minimum prescribed qualification against each post.
Candidates already employed in Govt. /Semi Govt. Organizations must provide No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employers at the time of Test/Interview.
