Disassembly
• Remove batteries, take off cutting parts.
• Disassemble cutter block support with rubber seal.
• The housing halves are held together by snap-action. Apply pressure diagonally on sides of
housing and squeeze, until parts disengage.
• Start at battery well to separate housing parts.
• Attention! Spring (16) and catch (17) will jump out of housing parts, also the battery cover
(18) will drop out.
• Motor (12) with oscillating frame (10) can now be removed from housing, lower part (15).
Assembly
The assembly will be accomplished in a reversed sequence. Attention should be paid to the
following points:
• The motor (12) must be installed with correct polarity. The minus-pole of the motor (the
motor contact which is not soldered), must be pinched between the battery contact.
• Insert oscillating frame (10) in such away, to line-up with the upper edge of the housing.
• First engage housing halves on the upper side, put battery cover (18) into place at the
bottom, then press both parts together.
• Assemble cutter block support (7) and pull rubber seal (8) over bead on housing.
• After housing has been assembled, slide spring catch (17) with spring (16) into the pockets
Insert batteries, carry out functional tests.
