Very often the bearings used in machine tols are subjected to varying loads and work at varying speeds. In these circumstances, it is necessary to make an estimate of equivalent required life which will ultimately give the bearing a life expectancy as chosen above. For this it s necessary to estimate from previous experience with such machines the values of different loads that wil act and periods asa percentage of total time these loads wil act.
