THEORY AND DISCUSSION
1. Definition Simple Future
Simple future tense is a sentence form to express to actions or events that have not
yet begun to be used and will occur in the future. Simple future tense sentences
are also commonly used to express predictions or to indicate ability or intention.
Simple future tense has two different forms in English grammar: "shall/will" and
"going to". Although the two forms can sometimes be used interchangeably, they
often express two different meanings.
2. Characteristics of Simple Future
Simple Future is a form of time used to declare an action or event that will happen
in the future. Here are some of the characteristics of using "Will and Shall of
Simple Future:
1. Used to declare the incident that will happen in the future: Simple Future
is used to declare the action or events that will occur after the time talk.
Example: I Will Go to the Beach Tomorrow.
2. Basic form of the verb: to form simple future, we use the basic verb
without additional verb auxiliary like" Will "or" shall "in front of him.
Example: She Will Study for the Exam.
3. Use" Will "or" Shall ": a verb aids" Will "or" Shall "used to form simple
futures in positive sentences.
Example: I will call you later.
4. Use "Will Not" or "Shall Not": To form a negative sentence, we add "not"
after a "Will" or "Shall" Help.
Example: They will not come to the party.
5. Using the word question: to form a question sentence, we move the verbs
a "Will" or "Shall" ahead of the sentence.
Example: Will You Join Us for Dinner?
6. No change of verb form: verb in simple simprection does not experience
shape changes, either for single or plural people.
Example: He Will Study. (He will learn.) They will study.
That's some of the characteristics of Simple Future. It is important to remember
that there are also other forms of Future Tense such as Future Continuous, Future
Perfect, and Perfect Continuous Future used to declare the action that will be
going on, completed, or undergo in a certain time in the future.
Then there is also the use of "Be To Go" from Simple Future, the use of "Be To
Go" allows us to declare plans or liabilities that have been established in the
future. By using this characteristic, we can reveal the schedule or expected task
clearly in English. The characteristics of "Be to go" usage are as follows:
1. Stating the planned set: "Be to Go" is used to declare a planned set or
scheduled in the future.
Example: They are to go on vacation next week.
2. Stating the scheduled or duty of the ": to beo" is also used to declare the
scheduled or duty task in the future.
Example: The Employees are to go through a training session tomorrow.
3. Using a verb aids "BE" and the verb to "Go to:" To use "Be To Go", we
use a Help "BEBOR" according to the right subject, followed by the "To
Go" verb.
Example: She is to go to the dentist this afternoon.
4. No change the verb form: the verb "to go" remains in its basic form and
does not experience shape changes, regardless of the subject or the number
of sentences.
Example: We Are To Go to The Concert Tonight.
5. Used for various subjects: "Be to Go" can be used for various subjects,
including single people, plural, and other forms.
Example: He is to go to the meeting Tomorrow.
3. Function Simple Future

to talk about plans for the future that we have already thought about. The

will inevitably occur. Overall, the simple future tense function can be used in
