Proposed Enhancement
Bibliography1.1 EXISTING SYSTEM:
In existing system before the text translator app there were several methods
people used to translate text between languages:
1, Human translators: One of the most common ways to translate text is to
hire a professional human translator. This method can be very effective,
but it can also be expensive and time-consuming.
2. Language dictionaries: Another way to translate text is to use a
language dictionary, which provides word-for-word translations of
individual words, This method can be helpful for simple translations, but
it does not provide a full understanding of the context and meaning of the
text.
3. Online translation tools: Before the development of sophisticated
machine learning algorithms, online translation tools used rule-based
approaches to translate text. These tools used pre-defined rules to match
words and phrases in the source language with their equivalent in the
target language. While these tools were useful, they often produced
inaccurate translations that lacked nuance and context.Need for System
In today's globalized world, communication, and collaboration between people
from different countries and cultures has become increasingly common.
However, language barriers can pose a significant challenge to effective
communication, especially when people are trying to share information or
conduct business across borders. Text translation applications are designed to
address this challenge by allowing users to translate text quickly and easily from
one language to another. These applications use machine learning algorithms to
analyse and interpret the text, and then provide a translation that is as accurate
and natural-sounding as possible. There are many situations where text
translation applications can be particularly useful, including:
Travel: When traveling to a foreign countty, it can be helpful to have a text
translation application to help you communicate with locals or read signs and
menus.
Business: In today's global economy, businesses often need to communicate
with partners or customers who speak different languages. Text translation
applications can help facilitate communication and ensure that everyone is on
the same page.
Education: Students who are learning a new language can benefit from text
translation applications to help them understand unfamiliar words or phrases.
Immigration: Immigrants who are learning a new language or trying to navigate
a new culture can use text translation applications to help them communicate
and adapt. Overall, text translation applications play an important role in
breaking down language barriers and promoting cross-cultural communication
and understanding.1.2 SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
The scope of a system means that which modules are being covered by the
system. The scope clearly defines the boundaries of the proposed system. The
functional areas of this application that lies under the scope of the proposed
system are the management of the availability of modules such as text, voice
or image text detection and translation, Our designed application provides a
2447 service, means customers can use the application. Some of the features
can be modified and added to this system in future. The application may have
a very large user base because of its need for the various reasons like students
may use this application for to learn the new language and travellers or
tourists can take the help of this app to explore the different country or
different culture where they don’t know the languages. It is also will be very
useful for to understanding the suggestions from different country and from
different languages while travelling,1.3 Operating Environment - Hardware and Software

2.1 Proposed System
The proposed system will contains an android application which will be able
to translate the text from the one language to another. This app will have a
ability to translate the plain text from one language to the another language. So,
using this very helpful app user can know meaning of the any word.
Proposed system also will have a voice translation module which will detect
the words from the voice of the user. It will be very useful especially when we
travel into the other country. So user can record the voice of the folks and then
can translate it into any desired language.
In the proposed application image text detection and translation will also be
present. It is common issue when reading the other language’s sign board or
traffic board that we cannot read and hence cant type that sentence in our app
that why it is necessary to detect text from the photo or image.2.2 Objectives of System
There can be several objectives for a text translation application built for
Android, depending on the specific needs and goals of the project.
1
Accurate translation: The primary objective of any translation application
is to accurately translate text from one language to another. The
application should be able to handle a wide range of languages and
provide translations that are as accurate as possible,
Speed and efficiency: Another important objective is to provide fast and
cfficient translations. The application should be designed to provide
translations quickly, without significant lag or delay.
Ease of use: The application should be designed to be user-friendly and
easy to navigate, with intuitive controls and clear instructions for users.
Compatibility with multiple devices: The application should be
compatible with a range of Android devices, including smartphones and
tablets, and work well on different screen sizes and resolutions.
. Offline functionality: Providing offline functionality can be a key
objective for a translation application, especially for users who may not
always have internet access,
Additional features: The application may include additional features such
as voice recognition or the ability to save or share translations.
Overall, the key objective of a text translation application for Android is to
provide accurate and efficient translations that are easy for users to access and
use.2.3 USER REQUIREMENTS:
There are several potential user requirements for a text translation application.
Here are a few possible requirements that the application need to meet to satisfy
users:
1. Accurate translations: Users will expect the application to provide
accurate translations that convey the intended meaning of the text.
2. Multiple languages: Users may require the ability to translate text
between multiple languages, depending on their needs and the languages
they use.

NEXT3.5 Test Procedures and Implementation
IMPLEMENTATION:
The proposed application completed the debugging task during the
testing phase, then it should enter the deployment phase. In the
deployment phase, the developer needs topublish the application's
installation package which is the "APK" file, to a platform such as
Google Play Store for users to download. However, due to the number of
users are limit so far and the proposed application is not in the final public
version, there are still many modules that should be improved and
updated. Therefore, it will be uploaded to the relevant platform to promote
to users after the final public version is released. In addition, users
n
execute the app in a non- network state, but the "download" module
requires an Internet connection to open the relevant web page to
download the application.
TESTING:
Testing is vital for the success of any software. no system design is
ever perfect. Testing is also carried in two phases. first phase is
during the software engineering that is during the module creation.
second phase is after the completion of software. this is system
testing which verifies that the whole set of programs hanged
together.White Box Testing:
In this technique, the close examination of the logical parts through
the software are tested by cases that exercise species sets of
conditions or loops. all logical parts of the software checked once.
errors that can be corrected using this technique are typographical
errors, logical expressions which should be executed once may be
getting executed more than once and error resulting by using wrong
controls and loops. When the box testing tests all the independent
part within a module a logical decision on their true and the false
side are exercised, all loops and bounds within their operational
bounds were exercised and internal data structure to ensure their
validity were exercised once.
Black Box Testing:
This method enables the software engineer to device sets of input
techniques that fully exercise all functional requirements for a
program. black box testing tests the input, the output and the
external data. it checks whether the input data is correct and whether
we are getting the desired output.Alpha Testing:
Acceptance testing is also sometimes called alpha testing. Be spoke
systems are developed for a single customer. The alpha testing proceeds
until the system developer and the customer agree that the provided
system is an acceptable implementation of the system requirements.
Beta Testing:
On the other hand, when a system is to be marked as
software product,
another process called beta testing is often conducted. During beta testing,
a system is delivered among a number of potential users who agree to use
it. The customers then report problems to the developers. This provides the
product for real use and detects errors which may not have been anticipated
by the system developers.
Unit Testing:
son each unit of
Each module is considered independently. it focus
software as implemented in the source code. it is white box testing.Integration Testing:
Integration testing aims at constructing the program structure while at the
same constructing tests to uncover errors associated.
Validation Testing:
Validation testing was performed to ensure that all the functional
and performance requirements are met.
System Testing:
Itis executing programs to check logical changes made in it with intention
of finding errors. a system is tested for online response, volume of
transaction, recovery from failure etc. System testing is done to ensure
that the system satisfies all the user requirements.CHAPTER 4: USER MANUAL

‘The main problem encounter in this project is the structure of code which the
structure no build well at first and led to keep modification during developing
night mode. Since the layout interface ofeach activity is not build as uniformly
‘managed and updated at the beginning, only one layout is updated to the dark
color after the night mode is enabled, and the layout of the other remains
unchanged, Fortunately, these problems were solved in the final development
stage, but the solution is informal and no efficiently, as itis achieved by using.
a lot of duplicate coding to solve.
