• Working as “Project Technical Engineer” in Hitachi Energy, India Operation Centre, Chennai from May 2022 to till
date.

▪ Detailed design engineering for HVDC Converter Station. Design includes sizing of electrical equipment’s Air
Clearance Requirement, Conductor Sizing Requirements, Ground Grid Analysis using CDEGS and lightning
protection.
▪ Preparation of Requirement specification for various equipment’s in the plant.
▪ Familiar with national and international codes (IEC & IEEE), CSA, ETAP, DiaLUX software.

• Working as “Senior Electrical Engineer” in Burns & Mcdonnells India, Mumbai from August 2019 to May 2022.

▪ Detailed design engineering for coal and gas-based power plant. Design includes sizing of electrical
equipment’s like switchgears, transformers, cables, battery and charger, earthing and lightning protection.

• Worked as “Substation Operator” in Kerala State Electricity Board, Palghat from September 2015 to October
2016.

▪ Keeping strict watch over the performance of HT and EHT equipment’s in the substation such as
Transformers, CTs, and Breakers etc.
▪ Rectification of abnormalities, if possible, immediately with the permission or in the presence of concerned
officers.
▪ Issuing and cancellations of permit to work, Isolation certificates, non-back feed certificates on the HT and
EHT equipment’s and feeders as per rules.
▪ Monitoring voltage and specific gravity of pilot cells, charging current of the battery, earth leakage etc.
▪ Test charging the HT and EHT feeders according to the nature of faults and instructing the maintenance
wing under respective sections when the fault can’t be resolved.

• Worked as “Site Engineer” in Installtech Engineering Pvt. Ltd, Palghat from November 2013 to November 2014.

▪ Understand all the work related to Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm System, Emergency Lighting Systems, HVAC
Powering, etc.
▪ Single Line Diagram (SLD) system is adopted, and individual drawing details are provided for Lighting layout,
Power layout, SLD, Emergency Lighting layout.
▪ Lux level calculation and knowledge about different types of lamps like GLS, FLT, CFL, LED, MVL, etc using
DIALux, CGlux.
▪ Prepare the Load Schedule for Lighting, Power and all other kinds of load connected as per the local
authority regulation.
▪ Panel board designing, testing and installation with MCCB, SDFU, Isolators, etc. based upon standard fuse
grading and Cable selection, conductor type, strands, cores, and insulation are performed based on
standards, voltage drop due to length and quality approved.
▪ Installation, testing and commissioning of low current systems including Fire Alarm, Central Battery
Emergency Lighting, Structured cabling System, Digital Signage System, CCTV System.
▪ Installation, testing and commissioning of Building Management System (BMS) including containment design
and installation, Cable dressing and termination, interfacing with HVAC, plumbing, Electrical and firefighting
Systems.
▪ Responsible of the submission of all the Inspection related to Electrical work and attend the inspections with
consultant.
▪ Responsible of the submission of the inspections for the Delivered Materials on the site and attend the
inspections with consultant.
▪ Manage a team of Engineers and Forman’s to achieve the required goal.
▪ Attend the meeting with consultant in weekly basis to demonstrate the progress of the work.
▪ Coordinate on regular basis with the Main Contractor/Consultant Coordinators.
▪ Ensure project completion within the agreed schedule and budget.
