IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION
The ink of the scholar is more sacred than the blood of the martyr.
Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH)
Education makes people easy to lead but difficult to drive, easy to govern, but
impossible to enslave. (Peter Brougham)
Do not train children to learning by force and harshness, but direct them to it by what
amuses their minds so you may be better able to discover with accuracy the peculiar
bent of the genius of each. (Plato)

Absenteeism can be a major cause of poor performance or failure.
Whenever a child is absent from school, for any reason, parents are requested to call
the school office between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. to report their child’s absence. This
procedure is protection of each child and child’s parent. In case of more than one

instructional time is extremely important. Regular students are awarded with
Excellence Award at the end of the session.
SIGNING STUDENTS IN AND OUT OF SCHOOL
The school discourages the early dismissal of students when classes are in regular
session. Students should be removed from school early only for legitimate reasons
when a reasonable situation prevents the child from attending school for the entire
14
day. Needless early dismissals are disruptive both to the child’s education and to the
class that is interrupted. Of course, there are occasions (medical appointments, etc.)
when dismissing a child early is warranted. In such cases, the parent need to report to
the school office to “sign-out” the child, stating the legitimate cause for the early
dismissal. It is recommended that the school be notified in advance of such
circumstances.
TARDINESS
The school has established a procedure for student tardiness as follows:
Students are late if they arrive after the start of the day bell rings.
Following three (3) consecutive late arrivals at school, parents will be called.
