 CHAPTER 1
The Heroine dreamed she went to Manderley again, she was in front of the close
door gate but in reality the doors are always wide open to welcome her, but She was
able to pass trough the doors like a spirit, being inside finally She could see
Manderley. The old house was as beautiful as ever, for a moment the house seemed
full of light and life, But the house was uninhabited. No smoke out of the chimney!
Then the nature did something rare, tree’s and plant’s moved turning into a labyrinth.
The drive was a ribbon, the nature made an impediment to progress, a huge jungle
growth which she could recognize whose blue heads, that grew native like monters
heights with no bloom. Black and ugly like parasites.
Her heart automatically knew I was infront of Manderley! Her Manderley, secretive
and silent as it had always been. Made her entrance to the house which she found a
alien marriage with a host of nameless shrubs. There was a lot more plans
destroying the house in every way!

CHAPTER 2
But she woke up and was in a hotel room sleeping miles away with Mrs. Van Hopper
who contracts her as helper and company. The Heroine decided to tell no one the
dream, They could never go back that’s certain, the pass was close for them.
Mrs. Van Hopper heard that Maximilian “Maxim” De Winter was in country and
decided to invite him to dinner which he denied. Mrs Van hopper never was happy,
was mean to her. Later in the night Maxim send a letter to The Heroine apologizing
for being uneducated.

CHAPTER 3
The next morning when they woke up, Mrs. Van Hopper was really sick she asked
her to call the doctor under stairs which Maxim and her found each other again and
he asked her to sit and have breakfast with him, they eat and talk for hours and
hours. They go for a ride she drove his car talk about Manderley which he’s the
Owner. Which has no kids because his wife died and didn’t had any children with her
but if Maxim died the house would be for his nephews, son’s of his sisters who isn’t
De Winter.

CHAPTER 4
They returned back in the night, she found a book of poems in the car, that was a gift
for Maxim to his dead wife Rebecca. He told her to put it back and goodnight. She
when she was up with Mrs. Van Hopper she told her she stayed playing tennis in the
darkness.
The next Morning he invited her again with a letter for a breakfast, a ride, a beach
day or just spend the day together and it happened day after day till the day Mrs.
Van Hopper was finally not sick anymore and told her that the next day they going to
New York. She was devastated and Mrs.Van Hopper told her she’s going to forget
everything that happened.

CHAPTER 5
The next morning when she woke up she run to the room of Mr.De Winter and told
him Mrs.Van Hopper is taking her to New York with her and she just wanted to say
goodbye. But Mr.De Winter didn’t want to let go and asked her to come with him to
Manderley. But not as worker as his spouse! He asked her to be Mrs. De Winter.

They go to tell Mrs. Van Hopper but she was mean and told her he’s marrying her
because he doesn’t want to go live at that big house alone!

CHAPTER 6
They arrived at Manderley after marriage and moonlight. Everyone was outside
waiting for Mr.De Winter & Mrs.De Winter.
Frith the butler welcomed them, Mrs. Danvers the sinister housekeeper of Manderley
she was and still devoted to Rebecca and didn’t like the new wife of Maxim. Frank
Crawley the overseer at Manderley immediately he met Mrs.De Winter he befriends
her. When Frank took Mr.De Winter for some signatures for important documents
Mrs.Danvers took Mrs.De Winter to meet the house.
She met Clarise that was already in her room, she was Mrs.De Winter maid.

CHAPTER 7
The first night she woke up at midnight after Maxim, he was sleepwalking but she
didn’t knew when she was about to touch him the voice of Mrs.Danvers telling her to
not touch him it’s dangerous stop her.
He walked into a room and she go right back to sleep, in the morning she asked him
about what happened last night and he just gives her a kiss and continues with his
life like nothing, Jasper the dog of Mr.De Winter took Mrs.De Winter to a room with a
lot of stuff of Rebecca, she start searching and let a statue fall, picking it barehanded
she cut her hand and sneak the broken statue into a drawer.

CHAPTER 8
She walked to the kitchen where Clarise covered the wound, at night brushing her
hair she noticed that everything had a “R” of Rebecca on it.
The next morning Maxim and Mrs.De Winter was walking in the mountains alone
again for the first time after their moonlight. They was walking with Jasper when he
start running, Maxim told her to let him he knows how to come back but Mr.De
Winter didn’t care and followed him. He was in a small house so far from where they
was Mrs.De Winter enters for him while he was staring at a door when she tried to
get him he enters, she open the door slowly and found a man with the dog on his lab
the man was Ben a beggar.
He told her that Jasper ain’t hers and neither from Mr.De Winter he is the per of
HER, Rebecca! And also told her that she drowned!
Speechless she took the dog and left to home.

CHAPTER 9
Moment’s later was the family present. Beatrice Maxim’s sister was talking to Mrs.De
Winter and offered help to teach her ride horses for the big event that they do every
year but instead Mrs.De Winter says that they should relive the big dance.
When the grandma of Maxim which has dementia and alzheimer had an crisis asking
for Rebecca infront of everybody. Beatrice took her mom right away home.
At night Mrs.Danvers was accusing Robert a young footman that worked for them all
his life of stealing a masterpiece worth more than 100 pounds, the statue she broke!
Mrs.De Winter faced with the situation, she had to admit that she’s the one who
broke it and hit it. And Robert could keep his job. Maxim tell them to send the pieces
to London to see if they can fix it and walked away without saying anything else.

 CHAPTER 10
The next morning Mrs.De Winter woke up she was alone. She walked to the
mountains with Jasper to talk to Ben, when she walked in the small house of the
beach Frank was there he was about to lock the door with her inside. An order of the
owner Maxim which traveled to London without telling her.
Frank and Mrs.De Winter walking back home they was talking about what happened
to Rebecca and how sensible that theme was to Maxim.
Back home Mrs.De Winter go straight to the room of Rebecca was the prettiest room
in the house with the best fragances in there, everything with a “R” on it.
The second Mrs.Danvers enters and tell her that she keep it how Rebecca left it like
she just go for a walk and come back. That she brushed Rebecca hairs every day for
20 minutes, that Maxim was happier. And what Rebecca would think of her taking
her man, that Rebecca was the love of his life.

CHAPTER 11
The next day Jack Favell the cousin of Rebecca was home searching for Danny
(Mrs.Danvers) who invited him for a thee. He immediately invites her to ride horses
while he’s sitting after her. He asked her if Maxim has talked to her about the
accident of Rebecca but he doesn’t touch that theme.
So she doesn’t know if Maxim saw her before she board, he talked to her about
Maxim’s character and to doesn’t tell him he was there because he got the visit to
that property restricted.
Then he just walked away so Danny doesn’t need to wait on him.

CHAPTER 12
Walking into the house back Mrs.De Winter confronted Danny about inviting Favell
for thee when she perfectly know Maxim doesn’t approve it. But Danny say’s she
haven’t heard anything from Favell more than 1 year ago.
At night Maxim returned home which Frith told him Mrs.De Winter received an
unwanted visit, she tried to tell him she didn’t invite him that was Mrs.Danvers but
she can’t denied that she went for a ride on the horse with him,
And what did Danny also forced her to go ride horses. The truth was no Danny didn’t
force her, he yelled and leave.
She run to Mrs.Danvers room to dismiss her, but instead asked her for help to be a
greater person, at night sleeping both on the bed Maxim apologize and tell her isn’t
her fault.

CHAPTER 13
The next morning Mrs.Danvers and Mrs.De Winter was preparing everything for the
Big Dance, the dress, the food, the invitations, the drinks, decorations, fireworks.
Everything! The dress that she chose was of the same dress of one of his great
great great grandmother, but was a surprise for him! All the guests came and they
was waiting on Mrs.De Winter when she came down Maxim was furious, he didn’t
like the idea of her wearing the dress of his ancestor. And tell her to go and change!
She changed and came back downstairs, everybody with their mask and dress. She
go to tell Maxim sorry but he told her that was a bad idea to bring her there. And
walked away, when she saw Mrs.Danvers and decided to go after her. She kept
walking and walking till she found herself in a circle surrounded by people yelling
“Rebecca” while they did the show of fireworks, she go to sleep and saw the face of
Mrs.Danvers and the body of Rebecca in the ocean. Page 3
 CHAPTER 14
She woke up early and run to Rebecca’s room yelling Maxim’s name, she entered
crying when Mrs.Danvers open uo the door from inside, and her is she see it, Maxim
can’t replace Rebecca, She’s irreplaceable! Mrs.De Winter tell her that she did all
that, she lied to her, she planned everything!
But Danny tells her she’s nothing she’s nobody she got nothing! Mrs.De Winter
walked away say that she’s leaving! While Danny was still telling her she can’t
remarried and doesn’t knwo how to care of a home!

CHAPTER 15
Mrs.De Winter conduces herself to a window in the top of the big Manderley which
Danny was still after her and whispered in her ear that nobody loves her and nobody
wants her there. When she was about to jump they saw a gunshot in the air and
Mrs.De Winter saw Maxim, Frith and Robert going to check on the boat that they
found some people helped to take it out of the ocean and the Boat had an “R” on it,
they found a body inside the boat with the same hair color and the initials on Maxim
in her wedding ring! Must to be her, but who put her in there? That was a big
question for everyone present.

CHAPTER 16
Later in night was a biggest question, when the husband of Beatrice. Giles Lacy said
why would Maxim recognize another body like his wife’s and bury it! That was really
suspicious, but Beatrice said he would have logic reasons. Nobody has seen him in
hours. The police call him for few questions and their gonna send him home.
Frank was with him and call Mrs.De Winter to be quiet, stay home and wait for them,
thing she couldn’t do!
Mrs.De Winter walked again to the mountains so she could visit the small house at
the beach that she saw, lights and Candles was on like was somebody in there,
when she entered Maxim was in there sitting and meditating.
The first thing he said “SHE WON” the heroine asked who won he said Rebecca!

CHAPTER 17
Mrs.De Winter couldn’t control and asked him, If that was Rebecca who did you
bury? He swears he doesn’t know! He confessed to Mrs.De Winter that she didn’t
drown she was already dead! And the boat was damaged. He broke it on purpose.
Rebecca was cruel, she was cold hearted on their moonlight Rebecca told Maxim
she’s gonna keep the house in London and gonna have sex with all the man she
wanted to knowing he couldn’t divorce her! Not because he loved her. He told
Mrs.De Winter he hates her! But because he couldn’t do that to their surname.
When Rebecca came back from London she told him she’s having a visit from Favell
but when Maxim arrived she was alone, she was pale, just came from visit a doctor
in London and tell him if i had a baby you’ll never can proof it’s yours.

CHAPTER 18
Then hand him a gun at the same time Maxim was handing Mrs.De Winter one in
real time. While Rebecca was telling him it’s easy and fast you just need to pull the
trigger and you’ll be free. Please!

Telling Mrs.De Winter thhe same story while doing the same things with her she was
with the gun pointing at Maxim’s heart! Pulled the trigger with help of him but nothing
happened. The gun had no bullets.
CHAPTER 19
They both stands for a second in shock when Maxim sit and continue with the story.
The bullet went through her, she didn’t fall at the points but she was free and happy
that after died! Mrs.De Winter told him she thought he was still inlove with her.
But wasn’t like that! They walked outside and Maxim told her if she wanted go to the
police station and tell them it’s fine and if she doesn’t want to have anything with him
he’ll understand. Mrs.De Winter told him they 2 know the truth and only they 2 would
know it. That Rebecca didn’t won! They not gonna let her won.

CHAPTER 20
The day of judgment arrived and forensic and judges was there with Maxim and
everbody of the house, they was about to talk about the discovery of the true body of
Rebecca De Winter. Wasn’t a criminal case they just wanted to talk about how she
died, the detective Welch said that the body he recognized a year ago wasn’t of his
wife. The body they just found was! And the body of Rebecca was in the cabin of her
boat who’s bit confusing also the boat besides the natural damages, you could see 4
perfect holes on the underside of the boat that was made with a harpoon or a peak.
That means it was intentionally damaged and that was only 2 possibilities, Suicide or
Homicide.

CHAPTER 21
Rebecca took a trip to London the day she died, the judge doesn’t understand how
he didn’t recognize her but Maxim trying to defend himself said she was 2 months
under water, bloated, no hands and no face!
Going back home he thought he did a bad job in the tribunal’s but he did it amazing
everybody is going to believe it, at that point no one have evidence of what
happened! The only evidence is the Dr.baker that Rebecca saw in private a few
hours before she died. When they arrived Favell was there and wanted to talk to
Maxim about Rebecca, he told Maxim he should send Mrs.De Winter to sleep when
she yelled she knows everything, she knows all the truth about Rebecca and Favell!
He continued saying “yes I was here the night she died! But because she called me!
And that is the last night someone would do if they trying to kill themself!” So I what it
is, Homicide or Suicide ¿

CHAPTER 22
Favell concluded that whole year that finally Rebecca decided to left him that’s why
he killed her! And Maxim said he didn’t have any proof it’s his word versus Maxim’s.
But no, wasn’t like that be said a letter of Rebecca telling him to come she had
something to tell him! Now Was Maxim’s word versus Rebecca’s.
Mrs.De Winter wss about to reach the letter when Favell hid it back. She told Maxim
to don’t fall in that sneaky game, and Favell just said “In reality I just came to give
thanks to you Maxim to share your Rebecca with all of us there all these years and
my question is, is it gonna happen with your new wife too” Maxim couldn’t control
himself and punch him un the face! Favell said there is the terrible character I told
you about Maxim Mrs.De Winter!

And She asked Favell how much money does he want so he can leave them. He
wanted 10 000 Pounds!

CHAPTER 23
The next day they went to the tribunal again, so the person’s that didn’t gave a
declaration the day before yhey could donit this day, Danny came first and said
everything about the note! That Maxim wanna pay 10 000 punds for it, that Maxim
doesn’t want hin to bring the letter and also she got the check Maxim gave to Favell,
Mrs.De Winter stand up in the crowd and say who says is for that Maxim gave the
check for, they continues asking Danny questions which most of the answers wasn’t
in favor of Maxim’s!
Rebecca visited London the day of her death she went to the doctor there but why
didn’t she go to the family doctor why another one! Like something private.
She was pregnant! Not from Maxim but Favell’s. that’s why Maxim killed her!
Favell start yelling and they ended the court, they arrested Maxim for more evidence!

CHAPTER 24
They started calling every Gynecologist in London, but Mrs.De Winter as soon she
arrived home Franko helped her search the number of the doctor! So they can call
first. Danny came in and tell them it’s a shame they are the side of the killer.
Mrs.De Winter tell her to leave by night she don’t want to see her home anymore,
She took her car and drove till Dr.John Baker office to talk to him personally!
She enters with the excus that she left her purse, when they hear a knock was some
FBI searching about Rebecca too.
Thee man that opened up for Mrs.De Winter told her to wait for him she run to the
office and start searching. She found a file with the Danvers on it. She took it thinking
that it was Rebecca’s! She didn’t found the way to get out so she read it there,
Rebecca had an Cancer in the uterus.

CHAPTER 25
The detective enters and found Mrs.De Winter reading files, she said she didn’t
change anything! She just read it. And she was Rebecca Danvers!
That was her real name! She wasn’t pregnant, she was in terminal, she wanted to
end with her life so that’s why she sinks with her boat!
Mrs.De Winter found to prove their truth and not THE TRUTH! Was a lucky stroke.
Favell tells him if justice didn’t trap you I will!

CHAPTER 26
Mrs.De Winter and Maxim was on their way home when they arrived Manderley was
on fire. Mrs.Danvers did it! Beginning by the room of Rebecca till the whole house
burned! Then she walked to the mountains so she can head to the small house.
Clarise saw Mrs.Danvers burning everything so she tells Mrs.De Winter. As soon as
she knew where to find Mrs.Danvers she run to the small house.
And she was right there also burned the small house! She was standing on the shore
of that dangerous sea.
She was about to jump! Maxim killed the only person Danny loved and she couldn’t
let Mrs.De Winter have Manderley neither. And she jumped till the deepest of the
ocean.

 CHAPTER 27
The Heroine woke up and dreamed she returned to Manderley. But when she woke
up she left the dead in the past. And when I woke up in our cozy room in El Cairo.
She realized the woman ahe had become, she was happier than ever, she knew she
made the good decision.
The only thing that was really worth go trough fire. Love!

MY OPINION
A really good story not gonna lie, is a bit about a poor girl that find a rich man
married her and now she’s tich but the people that have the house intact doesn’t like
the new Mrs.De Winter they really devoted to Rebecca.
I liked the story but I didn’t like how possessive Maxim was in private. He seems so
kind and sweet but he wasn’t!
The fact that the main character doesn’t have a name it’s a but frustrating because I
only use pronounce words “She/Her”, “The Heroine” or “Mrs.De Winter”
She was a really working girl tried her best but still wasn’t enough! Also the personal
of the house in Manderley was so rude to her and didn’t gave her a chance.
I LOVED THE END! A perfect happy end where the soulmates end together
