The terms ‘data’ and ‘power’ have almost become synonymous in the business context. Regardless of
the demographics and size of a company, its ‘success’ largely lies in the effectiveness of evaluating
data. In the digitized business environment, data pours into businesses through social media
channels, databases, customer support desks, online forums, and a plethora of sources. A careful
evaluation of huge chunks of data can generate valuable insights into future trends. To persevere and
thrive as a market analyst, it is essential to keep oneself sharp in the latest practices and procedures
of the market.

Since my childhood, my fascination with numbers and puzzles has been a driving force in my life. As
I matured, I became intrigued by the world of information Technology. Currently, I want to use my
analytical abilities along with my old passions in math, riddles, and statistics to create a successful
career for myself. Realizing the lucrative career potential in the field of business analytics, I decided
to pursue a Master’s program in this discipline. With a solid foundation in technical skills, I believe
it's time to gain a deep understanding of business analytics to shape my career effectively.
Prioritizing these aspects, I decided to pursue the Master’s degree in Business Analytics from the
University of Nottingham. This program will help me merge my technical skills with a strong grasp of
data-driven strategies.

The course that I am willing to pursue is closely aligned with my academic background and
professional goals. I have already completed my graduation in Bachelor of Computer Applications
and post-graduation in Master of computer Applications. This course has already exposed me to the
core concepts like data structures, AI, programming, and algorithms. Besides, I have been an avid
coder, indulging in courses to master programming languages like Java, C++, C, Python, and HTML. At
the same time, my interest lies in the marketing trend. Therefore, I carved out a career that appeals
the most to my intellect, which revolves around product development.

I am particularly drawn to the Master's in Business Analytics program at the University of

Nottingham for several compelling reasons. The program's well-rounded curriculum, encompassing
key facets of the evolving analytics landscape, aligns perfectly with my academic background and
professional aspirations. The inclusion of Data Management and Manipulation strikes a chord with

I have been fortunate to get an opportunity to intern at Finarya Tech, an IT startup based in Mumbai
as a junior software developer for six months as a part of my academic program. This was a valuable
learning experience for me, as I made the most of the industry exposure. At Finarya Tech, I also
shouldered the responsibility of a full-stack developer in HTML, JavaScript and Java, Spring boot. This
internship also tested my technical and intellectual mettle, proving that I was on track for an eventful
career.
After successful completion of internship, I got promoted as a software developer. Since we are a
startup company catering to banking sector, during a project stint, I had the opportunity to work
closely along with business analysts, there I was quick to evaluate the requirements of our clients. I
embraced this opportunity wholeheartedly, willing to master business analytics to capitalize on the
market opportunities. As a part of this project, I mastered some tools, that helped me evaluate
information based on customer feedback.

I collaborated closely with the IT team and stakeholders from various banks to bridge the gap
between technological solutions and business requirements. This involved translating intricate
financial processes into comprehensive technical specifications, ensuring that the resulting systems
met the banks' precise needs. This experience illuminated the critical role that business analysts play
