Nimble

 Part of speech : adjective


 Definition : Moving
quickly and lightly. "as nimble as a
deer" "nimble fingers"

 EX : The circus has nimble acrobats that walk quickly across


the tight rope
Connive

 Part of speech: verb


 Definition: To conspire, to plot, to cooperate secretly.

 EX : I had to connive the police officer, in order to get out of my


speeding ticket.
Raucous

 Part of speech : adjective


 Definition: very loud, noisy, or disorderly.

 EX: The boys were getting so raucous that it was hard to concentrate
on the service we were providing for them..
Convey

 Part of speech: verb


 Definition:
(v.) to transport; to transmit; to communicate, make
known; to transfer ownership or title to

 EX: I will convey the message to the rest of the students.


Skeptical

 Part of speech: adjective


 Definition: Doubtful, thinking something might not be true.

 EX: I am skeptical about voting on American Idol.


Discreet

 Part of speech: adjective

 Definition: careful about what one says or does; prudent


 Showing care or wisdom in what one says or does.

 EX: Security was tight but fairly discreet at the event.


Transpire

 Part of speech: verb

 Definition: Come
about, happen, or occur. "Several
important events transpired last week“

 EX: Theteacher did not know what would transpire while she
was out of the room.
Instigate

 Part of speech: verb


 Definition: (v.) to urge on; to stir up, provoke, start, incite

 EX: Students who instigate fights will be punished.


Wry

 Part of speech: adjective


 Definition:
Humorously sarcastic or mocking. "with a wry
Scottish wit"

 EX: The
daughter put on a wry face and opened the
window as if she was afraid.
Intimidate

 Part of speech: verb

 Definition: Make timid or fearful. "Her boss intimidates


her"

 EX: Thelarge dog tried to intimidate the burglar by


growling at him.
