A Birthday Thanksgiving: A Holy Hour of Gratitude and Blessings

[Begin with the Sign of the Cross]

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Adoration

Heavenly Father, I come before you in this sacred place, in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, to offer
you my time and my heart. As I prepare to celebrate another year of life, I am grateful for this opportunity to be
with you, to seek your presence, and to express my deepest emotions.

[Silent Reflection]

Let us take a moment of silence to clear our minds, to find stillness in your presence, and to open our hearts to
your divine love.

Praise and Worship

O God, I adore you as the Creator of the universe, the one who spoke into existence the heavens, the earth,
and all living things. I praise you for your greatness, your majesty, and your unfathomable wisdom. Your glory
is beyond comprehension, and I stand in awe of your creation.

You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning, and the end. You hold time and eternity in your hands, and I
am but a small part of your vast plan. I acknowledge your sovereignty over my life and my existence. I offer my
humble praise and worship to you.

Confession

Lord, I am not without fault. I acknowledge my sins and weaknesses. I ask for your forgiveness for the times I
have fallen short, for the moments I have strayed from your path, and for the hurt I may have caused to others.
I seek your mercy and your grace to cleanse my heart and make me whole.

Thanksgiving

As I approach my birthday, I am overwhelmed with gratitude, dear Lord. Thank you for the gift of life, for the
breath in my lungs, for the beating of my heart. I thank you for the past year, for the experiences, the joys, and
even the challenges that have molded me into the person I am today.

I am grateful for my family, for their love and support, for the friends who have walked this journey with me.
Your love shines through them, and I am blessed to have them in my life.

Birthday Requests

Lord, as I stand on the precipice of another year of life, I present my desires and intentions before you. Grant
me wisdom, understanding, and discernment as I navigate the path ahead. I ask for the strength to overcome
my weaknesses, to face challenges with courage, and to embrace opportunities with an open heart.

May this year be a year of growth and transformation, a year where I deepen my relationship with you, and a
year where I become a better version of myself. Bless my endeavors, my dreams, and my ambitions, and may
they be aligned with your divine plan for my life.

Blessing

Loving God, I seek your blessings for the coming year. I ask for good health that I may continue to serve you
and those around me. Bless my mind with wisdom, my heart with compassion, and my actions with love. Grant
me the strength to endure trials, the courage to face adversity, and the peace to find tranquility in the midst of
chaos.

Bless my loved ones, dear Lord. Keep them safe and surround them with your love. May we continue to
support and uplift each other as we journey through life together.

1
Intercession

I lift up to you the needs of the world, O Lord. In the quiet of my heart, I pray for those who are suffering from
illness, poverty, and conflict. Touch their lives with your healing hand and provide comfort and relief to those in
need. Guide the leaders of nations towards peace, justice, and unity. May your grace and mercy be felt in
every corner of the world.

[Silent Reflection]

Let us once again take a moment of silence to reflect on our personal intentions, to offer the desires of our
hearts to the Lord, and to listen to the still, small voice of God's guidance.

In the name of Jesus, I pray.

Amen.

"A Night of Reflection and Renewal: A Holy Hour in the Presence of the Blessed Sacrament on the Eve
of My Birthday"

In the presence of our Lord, Jesus Christ, truly and substantially present in the Blessed Sacrament, I come
before you, Lord, on the eve of my birthday, seeking to spend this hour in your divine presence.

Let us start with a moment of silent adoration, contemplating your true presence in the Eucharist.

[Pause for a few minutes in silent reflection]

Heavenly Father, on this special night, I first want to thank you for the precious gift of life you've given me. I am
filled with gratitude for all the experiences, challenges, and joys that have shaped me over the years. You have
been my constant companion through every moment of my life, and for that, I am truly thankful.

As I embark on the journey of another year, Lord, I recognize my dependence on your guidance, love, and
grace. In this Holy Hour, I offer myself completely to you, seeking your wisdom and strength to navigate the
path ahead. Just as the Magi brought gifts to the infant Jesus, I present to you the gift of my heart, asking you
to mold it according to your will.

I contemplate your presence in the Blessed Sacrament, recognizing the immense love that led you to remain
with us in this form. Your love is the source of my existence, my strength, and my salvation. I am humbled and
overwhelmed by your enduring presence among us.

Lord Jesus, as I reflect on the past year, I acknowledge my shortcomings and failures. I confess my sins and
ask for your forgiveness and the grace to do better in the coming year. May your mercy and love wash over me
and renew my spirit.

I also recognize the blessings you've poured into my life – the love of family and friends, the opportunities and
challenges that have shaped me, and the moments of joy and growth. Thank you for your grace and favor that
have sustained me.

In this Holy Hour, I bring before you my hopes, fears, and desires for the year ahead. Please grant me the
wisdom to make choices that are in line with your will. Help me to live a life filled with faith, hope, and love.

Lord, I place in your hands the people who are dear to me, as well as those who need your healing touch.
Bless my family, my friends, and all those who have touched my life in meaningful ways. Be with those who are
suffering, lonely, or in need, and grant them your solace and grace.

As I prepare to celebrate another year of life, I surrender my will to yours, O Lord. I place my dreams and
aspirations before you, trusting that you know what is best for me. Help me to live with an open heart, ready to
accept your guidance even when it might not align with my plans.

During this hour, I also want to remember those who have gone before us, especially those who have
influenced and shaped my life. May their souls rest in your eternal embrace.

2
I now invite you to spend some time in silence, laying before the Lord any specific intentions, desires, or
concerns that are on your heart.

[Pause for personal reflection and prayer]

Lord, you know the depths of my heart, and you understand the unspoken words within me. I place these
intentions and desires before you, trusting in your providence and love.

As I approach this new year, I seek your blessings, protection, and grace. May your light shine upon my path,
and may your love fill my heart. Help me to be a better person, more attuned to your will, more generous in my
love for others, and more committed to serving your kingdom.

During this Holy Hour, may I be inspired to grow in faith, love, and service to others. Help me to be more like
you in thought, word, and deed. Grant me the grace to forgive those who have wronged me and the strength to
ask for forgiveness from those I've wronged.

In closing, let us spend the remaining moments in silent adoration, embracing the presence of our Lord in the
Blessed Sacrament.

Closing

As I prepare to conclude this prayer, I want to thank you, Lord, for this precious time in your presence. I trust in
your divine plan for my life and the journey that lies ahead. As I approach my birthday, may it be a celebration
of your love and the gift of life. May I continue to seek you and find you in all things.

[Pause for a few more minutes of silent reflection]

Thanksgiving Prayer

Heavenly Father, as this hour draws to a close, I thank you for the privilege of being in your presence and
sharing my heart with you. May this Holy Hour serve as a source of grace and strength for the year ahead.

I offer this prayer in the name of your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of
the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, on this special day of my birth, I stand before the Blessed Sacrament in profound
gratitude for the gift of life and the countless blessings you have bestowed upon me.

In the presence of your divine presence, I humbly acknowledge the lessons, challenges, and joys of the past
year. Your grace has sustained me through it all, and I am truly thankful.

Lord, I offer this day as a symbol of my journey, a journey where I have been guided by your unwavering love
and grace. Just as the Magi brought gifts to the infant Jesus, I present to you the gift of my life. I ask that you
mold it according to your divine will.

As I contemplate your presence in the Blessed Sacrament, I am reminded of your immense love for us. You
chose to remain with us in this form, a tangible reminder of your love and the source of our strength. I am
humbled by your enduring presence among us.

Mama Mary, on this special day, I turn to you, our Blessed Mother. Just as you were present at the birth of
your Son, Jesus, I ask for your intercession and guidance. Help me to walk the path of love, compassion, and
humility, just as you did. May your maternal care envelop me as I journey through life.

Lord Jesus, as I reflect on the past year, I acknowledge my shortcomings and failures. I confess my sins and
ask for your forgiveness, for your mercy knows no bounds. I am grateful for the Sacrament of Reconciliation,
which offers me the opportunity to renew my spirit and turn away from sin.

I also recognize the blessings you've poured into my life, the love of family and friends, the opportunities and
challenges that have shaped me, and the moments of joy and growth. Thank you for your grace and favor that
have sustained me.

3
In this hour of prayer, I bring before you my hopes, fears, and desires for the year ahead. Please grant me the
wisdom to make choices that align with your divine will. May my life be a testament to your love, and may I be
a source of light to those around me.

I place in your hands the people who are dear to me, especially my family and friends. May you bless and
protect them, guiding them with your love. Be with those who are suffering, lonely, or in need, and grant them
your solace and grace.

As I prepare to celebrate another year of life, I surrender my will to yours, O Lord. I place my dreams and
aspirations before you, trusting that you know what is best for me. Help me to live with an open heart, ready to
accept your guidance even when it might not align with my plans.

During this hour, I also remember those who have gone before us, especially those who have influenced and
shaped my life. May their souls rest in your eternal embrace.

I invite you to spend some time in silence, laying before the Lord and Mama Mary any specific intentions,
desires, or concerns that are on your heart.

Help me to be a better person, more attuned to your divine will, more generous
in my love for others, and more committed to serving your kingdom.

As this hour of prayer draws to a close, I thank you for the privilege of being in your presence and sharing my
heart with you. May this time be a source of grace and strength for the year ahead.

I offer this prayer in the name of your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of
the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

"Celebrating Another Year: A Birthday Prayer to Padre Pio and St. John Paul II"

Dear Padre Pio and St. John Paul II,

On this special day, my birthday, I come before you with a heart full of gratitude, love, and reverence. You,
Padre Pio, with your stigmata and unwavering faith, and you, St. John Paul II, with your profound wisdom and
dedication to the Church, have been my guiding lights and faithful intercessors. I turn to you, my patron saints
and favorite saints, to seek your blessings, guidance, and protection as I celebrate another year of life.

Padre Pio, you bore the wounds of Christ and showed us the path of suffering united with love. Your life was a
testament to the transformative power of faith and prayer. I ask that you intercede for me, helping me to find
strength in times of difficulty, and reminding me that, through faith, even the greatest challenges can be
overcome.

St. John Paul II, your life was a beacon of hope and inspiration. You tirelessly served the Church and the
world, spreading the message of love and unity. I ask for your intercession in my life, that I may emulate your
love for all, your commitment to peace, and your unwavering faith. Help me to be a source of positive change
in the lives of those around me.

On this day, I offer my thanks to God for the gift of life and for the countless blessings I have received
throughout the years. I ask for your guidance, dear saints, in the journey that lies ahead.

A Prayer of Thanksgiving

Paul II, you who endured physical and spiritual trials, please strengthen me. Help me to bear my own
challenges with grace and resilience.

A Prayer for Faith

Strengthen my faith, Padre Pio, that it may be unwavering and steadfast, even in the face of doubt and
adversity. St. John Paul II, inspire me to deepen my understanding of the teachings of the Church and to live

May the light of God's love shine upon me and through me, in your holy names, Padre Pio and St. John Paul II.
Amen.

ACT OF CONSECRATION

Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary

by St. Louis de Montfort

O ETERNAL and incarnate Wisdom! O sweetest and most adorable Jesus! True God and true man,
only Son of the Eternal Father, and of Mary, always virgin! I adore Thee profoundly in the bosom and
splendors of Thy Father during eternity; and I adore Thee also in the virginal bosom of Mary, Thy
most worthy Mother, in the time of Thine incarnation.

I give Thee thanks for that Thou hast annihilated Thyself, taking the form of a slave in order to rescue
me from the cruel slavery of the devil. I praise and glorify Thee for that Thou hast been pleased to
submit Thyself to Mary, Thy holy Mother, in all things, in order to make me Thy faithful slave through
her.

But, alas! Ungrateful and faithless as I have been, I have not kept the promises which I made so
solemnly to Thee in my Baptism; I have not fulfilled my obligations; I do not deserve to be called Thy
child, nor yet Thy slave; and as there is nothing in me which does not merit Thine anger and Thy
repulse, I dare not come by myself before Thy most holy and august Majesty.

7
It is on this account that I have recourse to the intercession of Thy most holy Mother, whom Thou
hast given me for a mediatrix with Thee. It is through her that I hope to obtain of Thee contrition, the
pardon of my sins, and the acquisition and preservation of wisdom.

Hail, then, O immaculate Mary, living tabernacle of the Divinity, where the Eternal Wisdom willed to
be hidden and to be adored by angels and by men! Hail, O Queen of Heaven and earth, to whose
empire everything is subject which is under God. Hail, O sure refuge of sinners, whose mercy fails no
one. Hear the desires which I have of the Divine Wisdom; and for that end receive the vows and
offerings which in my lowliness I present to thee.

I, ________________, a faithless sinner, renew and ratify today in thy hands the vows of my
Baptism; I renounce forever Satan, his pomps and works; and I give myself entirely to Jesus
Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more
faithful to Him than I have ever been before.

In the presence of all the heavenly court I choose thee this day for my Mother and Mistress. I
deliver and consecrate to thee, as thy slave, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and
exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present and future; leaving to thee the
entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according
to thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God in time and in eternity.

Receive, O benignant Virgin, this little offering of my slavery, in honor of, and in union with, that
subjection which the Eternal Wisdom deigned to have to thy maternity; in homage to the power which
both of you have over this poor sinner, and in thanksgiving for the privileges with which the Holy
Trinity has favored thee. I declare that I wish henceforth, as thy true slave, to seek thy honor and to
obey thee in all things.

O admirable Mother, present me to thy dear Son as His eternal slave, so that as He has redeemed
me by thee, by thee He may receive me! O Mother of mercy, grant me the grace to obtain the true
Wisdom of God; and for that end receive me among those whom thou lovest and teachest, whom
thou leadest, nourishest and protectest as thy children and thy slaves.

O faithful Virgin, make me in all things so perfect a disciple, imitator and slave of the Incarnate
Wisdom, Jesus Christ thy Son, that I may attain, by thine intercession and by thine example, to the
fullness of His age on earth and of His glory in Heaven. Amen.
