When does the insurance kick in?
Your insurance cover begins the second you are seated on the Rapido ride and ends when you reach
your destination and your ride ends up to a maximum period of 24 hours.
Coverages
Your Rapido ride is now covered by Acko General Insurance. Check everything that is covered along
with the exceptions below. We have kept it simple and short, so, it will hardly take you a few minutes.
This Certificate of Insurance lists the coverage benefits extended to RAHUL H PUJARI under the
Acko General Insurance. The coverage will be valid as per the terms and conditions of the policy
document.

What’s covered?
Acko Travel Insurance provides extensive coverage for the insured passenger against unfortunate
incidents during the Rapido ride. The following benefits will be applicable when the policy is active:
If you get hospitalised
You’re entitled to a sum of INR 1,00,000 if you have to get hospitalized to
recover from injuries suffered during the trip.
If you undergo OPD treatment
If your injuries require just out-patient treatment, we will pay you INR 3,000
to cover the expenses.
If you die or suffer from permanent total or
partial disability.
We will compensate you with INR 5,00,000 in case of death or severe injury
during the trip leading to any kind of permanent disability whether it is total
or partial.

If you suffer from temporary total disability
We will compensate you with INR 2,00,000 in case you are severely injured
during the trip leading to any kind of temporary total disability.
For funeral expenses
In case the accident leads to your death we will pay out a sum of INR 5,000
for funeral expenses.
Loan waiver
If the accident during the trip leads to death or permanent total or
permanent partial disability, we will compensate you with INR 1,00,000 in
case there’s a loan in your name.

It’s pretty easy to file a claim in case of an unfortunate event. You can do it either on acko.com or on
your Rapido app. Just follow the steps listed below:
