serious consequences for the marine ecosystem. Sea animals are

This can Coral Garden is a large composition made with wool and weaving techniques, creating different types of corals found in the ocean. The corals expose in the composition are anemones, Foliose corals, Table corals, Encrusting corals, Mushroom corals, Branching corals, and

Regarding the points of emphasis, it's hard to distinguish due to the similarities of texture, but Vanessa emphasizes the

On the other hand, I would easily explain the artwork to someone else, as proof of beauty and the variety of
themselves. As humans are selfish enough to care less for biodiversity the oceans hold. I think the artworks talks for itself, with its texture, colors, and how extensive the coral garden is. Vanessa Baragão has created an effective expressive composition because the contrast between the cold and warm
animals than for themself, don't change for animals, change for colors add to the overall concept of beauty, and at the same time encourage humanity to preserve such harmony. The understanding of the compositions in terms of expressing climate change is excellent, as the right side shows the loss of
humanity. pigment the corals go through when they die. The audience can easily understand that the left side shows an alive coral, where colors are bright, but when looking at the right side, the corals lost color, representing how pollution ends with life.

I consider that my work is very successful because despite being made using an easy technique, such as glue and wool, a message of damage, danger, and awareness.
it took a lot of dedication and time to glue each of the wools in a defined pattern and way. Likewise, I consider that the

the work allows the audience to have a different perspective on the meaning of the work, allowing people to understand “Coral Garden"

Regarding aesthetics, I consider that the work can improve specifically in the white strip since the glue made the white intended to express a message for different causes while Title: In a matter of time

TOPIC EXPLANATION INSPIRATION #1: PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
In October 2021, I had an accident. The doctors put bandages on both of my legs, which meant that I could not get the bandages wet when taking a bath. I tried to find methods that would deprive me of
using plastic bags to cover the bandages, but it was impossible cause any other material I tried to use didn't protect my legs. For this reason, one of the greatest inspirations of my works was to make use of
the black plastic bags that I reused every time I went to bathe. Likewise, whenever I finished any artwork, I had materials I didn't use and were essentially leftovers, however, within this artwork I used plastic

The installation is meant to demonstrate how every minute, humans' actions that caused climate change, are responsible for the melting of icebergs, and therefore, the melting of the Antarctic. The 12 ice blocks are in a clock form, where every block represents one hour of the clock. If I had the
opportunity to be at that installation, I would experience many feelings. I would feel sad to see the ice melt and would be shocked about the placement of the blocks, and how well they work to transmit the message of climate change. The artwork does not have any direct narrative, but time does tell a
story because as time goes by, the block begins to disappear, leaving no proof of the installation. If I had to explain the artwork to someone else, I would start with the purpose of the installation, which is the effect of climate change, I think that from that information the audience can easily interpret the
installation the right way. The overall installation has created an effective expressive space open to interpretation, and emotions from the audience, because of the organization of the ice block, and the blocks themselves.
