Parts of a Plant
The flowers are colorful and aromatic. They are the reproductive

parts of the plant and are involved in the formation of the fruit

flower and seeds.

The fruit is the seed-bearing structure. It protects the immature

seeds. It stores food and attracts animals that help in dispersing,

fruit or scattering, the seeds to distant places.

The leaf prepares food for the plant by a process called

photosynthesis. The leaves are known as the food factory of
