Part 1:
1. What are your hobbies?
When it comes to hobbies, I have a few that keep me engaged and entertained. One of them is
photography. I find it fascinating to capture moments and scenes through my lens. It allows me to
express my creativity and perspective.
2. What is your favorite musical instrument?
My favorite musical instrument to listen to is the guitar. I like the fact that there are different types of
guitars, like classical, acoustic, and electric. I love the variety of sounds a guitar can make.
3. Do you prefer action films or comedies? Why?
Action movies have more captivating and dramatic plots than romantic ones, which is why I like to watch
them. I adore how exciting it is to see. It features numerous striking scenes and impressive visual effects.
4. Do you think it is important to read novels and poetry? Why?
Reading is not significant, in my opinion. Movies can provide you with entertainment, while television
shows like documentaries can teach you things. I don't think I'm losing out on anything, therefore.
Part 2: Describe a hobby you enjoy.
Music is an inseparable part of my life. Listening to music has become my hobby since I was a little kid
because it can be very relaxing and enjoyable. I still listen to music almost every day as it helps reduce
stress and anxiety. I like many different kinds of music, such as pop, R&B, and rap. It doesn’t matter in
which language a song is, or who the singer is as long as I enjoy the melody.
I would say that I listen to different music genres depending on different occasions. When I am having a
stressful day, one of the best things I can do is to just sit back and listen to jazz and soul music. It will
make me feel good inside by releasing all the tension I might have in my body, allowing it to relax. It lets
me de-stress and forget about my problems.
In addition, when I listen to music, I feel like it can help me promote attention and focus so I am able to
concentrate on what I am doing more effectively. I also go to the gym a few times a week, and working
out with music improves my mood and helps my body exercise more efficiently. This is another reason
why listening to music is a great hobby.
Music is a hobby that has no boundaries. It makes the world smaller. Without music, life would be a
mistake.
Part 3:
1. Do you think men and women tend to have different types of hobbies?
Yeah, there are some slight distinctions between men and women when it comes to their pastimes. I
think men tend to prefer physical activities such as hitting the gym or playing some sort of sport. This
makes their physical appearance look more attractive and appealing. In terms of women’s preferences,
they might be into art or survival skills like culinary skills, painting or drawing.
2. Why do some people get obsessed with their hobby?
I would say that there are several reasons for this, but the biggest reason is that people tend to spend
more time on activities that have positive impacts on their lives in the long term. For example, some
people prefer getting up pretty early in the morning to do meditation or early pages. This is because
such activities help them to freshen their mind, build up mental stamina, and have control over their
daily tasks.
3. Do you think hobbies that keep you fit are better than hobbies that you can do sitting down?
No, I don’t buy that idea. Every pastime has its values, and people can experience them as a form of
enjoyment in different ways. Therefore, it is absurd to compare one to another. For example, people
who are into music may argue that they prefer it since it can help to heal the pains in their souls and
make their lives more meaningful.
4. Do you think it can be a disadvantage to have too much free time?
In my opinion, the less work you have, the less active you are and the more time you waste. When
someone has too much free time, they may become sluggish and apathetic. On the other hand, those
who are constantly on the go have no problem cramming one more item into their packed schedules.
5. Should people feel a duty to do something constructive in their free time?
No, not always. Everyone needs some time to unwind. Because the modern world is so demanding and
stressful, we need to take occasional breaks from our obligations and engage in enjoyable activities.
Even activities that aren't typically thought of as beneficial can still be beneficial to us.
6. Do people have more free time now than in the past?
Strangely enough, even though we own so many labor-saving appliances like dishwashers and washing
machines, we still feel as though we have less free time. I constantly hear from many of my friends that
they are too busy to be happy. In actuality, though, I believe that earlier generations had less leisure
time than we have. The typical worker put in six or seven days a week at work and rarely took a break.
