Group Rules & Punishments

❖Punishments
First Offense - Warn
Second Offense - Demotion
Third Offense - Rank-Lock to Myth Seeker

Warns count against you for one month. When that month is over, the
warning will no longer be valid.

DISCLAIMER: Depending on the severity of the action committed, the

punishment may not follow what was stated above.

❖Do not spam/abuse the group wall

Spam can be considered as someone sending more than two
messages consecutively. Any spam will be deleted, even if it’s an
important message. Try to fit your entire message into one post, that way
you are not at risk of it being deleted. Do not advertise on the group
wall. Do not post hunts on the group wall, use the group shout to host
hunts. No links should be posted on the group wall whatsoever.

❖Do not shout abuse

The shout is to be used only for hosting myth hunts. Things such as
QOTDs, advertising, and personal updates are not allowed to be shouted.
You are also not allowed to shout myth groups. Shouting profiles is
permitted if that myth has a game, and you must join the game. Anyone
may host a profile hunt.
Myth hunt shouts must be kept up for at least 15 minutes. When
shouting a hunt, make sure your shout contains a link to a myth or game.

1
If a High Rank, Lead Investigator, or Event Coordinator makes a shout with
[!] at the beginning of it, do not shout over it until it is cleared.
If the shouted game contains disorienting effects such as flashing
lights that would trigger an epileptic reaction or cause vertigo, you are
REQUIRED to put a notice on your shout.
If you have admin in a shouted game, do not abuse your admin
commands. Punishment will depend on the severity of the commands
used.

❖Do not self-advertise

Self-advertising includes, but is not limited to: shouting your own
game/myth, a myth game you helped work on, shouting your friends
game/myth, linking/promoting a group, and more. If caught
self-advertising, you’ll be demoted for the first offense. Continuing to
self-advertise will result in being rank-locked to Myth Seeker.
You will also be punished if you self-advertise within a shouted
game.

❖Do not start or partake in drama

Starting/spreading rumors, participating in witch hunts, needless
harassment and spreading/starting false accusations is considered drama.
If you have a problem with somebody, PM an HR about it. Don’t witch
hunt someone. Do not expose others, whether this being exposing their
identity as a myth, or something else. Actions out of the group can most
certainly impact your rank in RMH.

❖Do not harass others

Don’t harass others. The ideal community is one where everyone
respects each other, whether they’re in the group or not. If you don’t
agree with someone, be respectful about it.

2
❖Do not admin abuse
Falsely promoting or demoting someone will result in punishment. If
you promote or demote someone with no true reasoning behind it, you
will be punished.

❖Attend your hunt that you host

Once you have access to host your own myth hunts, you must attend
your own hunt. You do not have to stay at your hunt until another hunt is
hosted; however, you must attend for a minimum of 5 minutes. Host a
hunt at a place you believe you’ll be interested in for long enough.

❖You can only shout 5 hunts in a row

In order to provide a fair experience for the majority, it’s asked of
you to not host 6 hunts in a row to give others a chance at hosting. If you
are shouting multiple games in a row, they have to be related to each
other, and you may label it with [CHAIN HUNT]. You can shout the next
game after 10 minutes, and your chain cannot be overshouted until all
games within it have been shouted.

❖Follow Roblox Community Rules and Terms of Use

Your account must follow the Roblox Community Rules. If your
account has a username or contains content that is offensive or
inappropriate, we will suspend your account. It is expected of all
members to abide by the principles in the Roblox Community Rules.
The buying and selling of Roblox accounts (particularly myth
accounts) is prohibited, as stated in the Roblox Terms of Use. This is
because Roblox accounts fall under the category of “digital goods.”

SUBMITTING AN APPEAL: If you have violated any of these guidelines and

your rank has been affected (either by suspension or being blacklisted

3
from ranking up, such as being rank-locked to Myth Seeker) you are able
to appeal at this link: (https://forms.gle/B34a8GZr4mcSE16d9)

NOTICE: Just because something is not mentioned does not make it

alright. Use common sense in order to determine what is and isn’t ideal.
Everything will be dealt with accordingly.

Myth & Hunt Information

What makes a Myth?

Most myths usually follow the same outline. This outline is almost
always a story that is depicted through a game. A good myth knows how
to capture the attention of their myth hunting audience. Just about every
myth has a mysterious aura that surrounds them. With all of this being
said, anyone has the potential to become a myth.

What is a Myth Hunt?

Myth hunts are always shouted on the group page. A myth hunt is
where you, usually along with other hunters, go to a myth’s place and try
to discover and put together the story that is being told through the
place. There are various skills that may potentially be put to the test
while myth hunting.

4

multiple applications will not rank you up quicker. If you have been demoted, refrain

Places To Hunt

On ROBLOX, there’s a large number of places to hunt and discover.

Places could be a simple but meaningful place, or they could be a highly
thought-out place with many different areas to explore. Whether this is
in the same game or in different games that are connected, the paths are
endless. With what feels like an infinite amount of places to uncover,
unfortunately, it would be incredibly hard to uncover every single place.

If you’re bored and want to test your luck on finding a place to

hunt, go ahead and click here or here. However, please be wary of any
triggering factors (such as flashing lights) that may be in the games. That
will bring you to our place, Myth Places to Investigate. In terms of places
like these, we do not have the only one of these on ROBLOX. Go ahead
and search for some more if you’d rather the search for a myth to hunt
be more direct. If you have any suggestions on places to add to the pool,
please contact an RMH Administrator or a member of the Council.

If you want to do a little bit of searching before even joining a

place, there’s three options that you can do. The first one, which may be
extremely tedious, is to look through the rank of Myth Seeker. Although
there may be a lot of bad quality myths, you may find that diamond in
the rough. The second one, while equally tedious, may be more
rewarding. You can look through ranks of RMD: any myth ranked
Upcoming+ have been quality checked by ambassadors; however, there
are good myths in the ranks under that too! The third option is to look
through the recommended games section at the bottom of a games page
on the website. More often than not, you will find a lot of myth-related
games when looking in that section while on the page of a myth game.

Frequently Asked Questions

“My application was declined, how come?”

You most likely answered a question incorrectly, could not provide anyone
to vouch for you, lied on it, or did not meet a requirement. Make sure
you read over the guide to know what requirements you must meet for
each rank. Attend more hunts and remember those names of the people
there!

“Someone’s exploiting at hunts/the HQ/the town, what do I do?”

Report it in the #report channel in the Discord server, or message an HR
so they can suspend the member.

“Why was I suspended?”

You most likely broke a few rules in which a suspension was warranted. If
you wish to appeal, message an Extreme Hunter or higher.

“Why was I demoted?”

You most likely broke a rule again after being warned. If you believe you
were falsely demoted, please message an Extreme Hunter or higher.

11
“What HRs can I message?”
Just about every current HR is active enough to see your message. If an
HR does not respond to your message in over a day, it’d be best to
message someone else. If you’re having trouble finding an HR, please
message Cenoglyphic, you’ll be directed to someone if needed.

“I would like to become allies with RMH, how do I do so?”

Message RecklessHavok via discord and he will provide you with more info
on becoming allies.

“Someone from a Miscellaneous rank/Myth is over shouting others,

what do I do?”
Let a high rank know immediately. It will be dealt with exactly like how
it’s dealt with LRs.

“Someone just over shouted another person in under a minute after

the shout was posted, what happens?”
This action will be ignored because it’s more than likely just an accident.
There’s not a whole lot you can do to prevent someone from over
shouting another in under a minute. If you believe someone is using this
to take advantage of shout abusing, please let an HR know immediately
so it can be looked into.

“A myth is currently admin abusing in their game that’s being hunted,

what do I do?”
This myth will be dealt with by the Myth Committee. In order for this
case to be taken over to the Myth Committee, please message an
Administrator or Cenoglyphic with sufficient proof. Keep in mind you may
be asked some additional questions and asked to provide more evidence.

“I was just warned for overshouting, how long does this warning last?”

12
If you’re warned for overshouting, it’ll last for one month. This is not
limited to just overshouting.
“My question wasn’t answered, what now?”
If you have a question that wasn’t answered, please contact an Honorable
Hunter+ to get an answer. If they cannot answer the question based on
their own knowledge, they will ask others in order to get an answer for
you.

Subsidiary Groups

On top of RMH, there are subsidiary groups that help to benefit the
group, these being RMH Myth Development and RMH Development Team.
Involvement in these groups is not mandatory, but dedicating some time
to become involved and contribute to these groups may help your
reputation.

[RMH Myth Development]

Discord Link / RMH Myth Development Guidelines / Myth Joint Hunt Application /
Myth Application
RMH Myth Development is a group dedicated to help smaller
myths shine. The group is designed so that any myth who is
just starting out can fill out an application and be able to
advertise their myth, as well collaborate with other myths and
myth hunters to improve their game. The ranking system in
this group is significantly less rigid than in the main RMH group, seeing as
though the group’s goal is to ensure that smaller myths can one day meet
the 4k visit requirement and become ranked in the main group.
Certain MRs with a good reputation are able to volunteer as Ambassadors
which process applications and help run the group. Please read the

13
group’s guideline for more info, and reach out to an ambassador in RMD
with any questions.

[RMH Development Team]

Discord Link / Development Team Application
Members of the RMH Development Team help to produce
content for RMH. The ranks in this group include writers,
clothing and graphic designers, scripters, builders, and
planners. In order to become a member of the development
team, you must complete an application and have a Discord
account. Please message a coordinator in RDT with further questions.
