Sewerage Treatment Plant:-


1) The works shall includes Planning, designing, preparing of BOQ, Preparing of
Inventory, supplying, installation, testing & commissioning of STP of
appropriate technology i/c all civil and E&M work (including plant room)
complete with of all equipments such as collection tank, MBBR tank, Pumps,
Treated water, Storage tank, Filtration plant with MGF, ACF, softening plant,
UV Plant etc., Statutory clearances wherever required will have to take by the
firm (i.e. C.P.C.B./ W.B.P.C.B. which is applicable).
2) Capacity- Minimum 750 KLD. (STP of latest technology MBBR of capacity
considering 4500 users of the Hostel Building. Hence minimum STP capacity
for Girls/Boys Hostel is 750 KLD).
3) Calculation for quantity of waste water generated from different sources and
design waste water treatment plant.
4) Design and prepare the drawings for pre treatment of waste water from
kitchen and dining halls before connecting to sewage system i/c.
management of solid wastes, oil & grease etc. by suitable treatment and
disposal system.
5) Obtain approval from statutory and local bodies for waste disposal shall be
done by the contractor.
6) Third party approval of detailed drawings and data sheets of suppliers/
manufacturers and incorporation of suggestion /modification in the drawings
shall be done by the contractor.

7) TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF STP:


Sewerage Treatment Plant for two nos. Girls Hostel and Three nos. Boys
Hostel shall be carried out by the Contractor as directed by Engineer-in-
charge.
Note: GRIHA norms & relevant IS standards (output water for irrigation/
flushing/ sewer/ portable) for output water parameters should be
complied. The Sewage Treatment Plant shall be designed on MBBR
(Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) technology for the following raw sewage
flow rate and characteristics:
a) Sewage Generation And Characteristics
(For Girls Hostels & Boys Hostels)

accessories and concrete foundation complete as required. (1 Working +
