OF CUSTOMS BONDED
WAREHOUSES

when the business of the port requires such facilities, the Collector shall
designate and establish a warehouses. Subject to the approval of the
Commissioner shall designate and establish a warehouses.

Then the District Collector, after such approval of the Commissioner, shall
designate and establish customs warehouses within the customs premises
for the storage of imported goods or for other special purposes.
SECTION 801

In the exercise of the Collector supervisory functions


herein, existing contracts of private operators with
appropriate government agency or regulator shall not
be impaired or adversely affected.

Impaired – means not to weakened or damage any


existing contracts, laws or agreement
SECTION 801
A CBW includes the surrounding premises within Its perimeter
fence per approved application,rooms, compartments, and other
areas necessary and exclusively used for storing, processing, re-
packing, and manufacturing imported raw materials and the
finished product, by-products, wastages and rejects incident to
such activities as applied for and approved by the Bureau.

No other establishment shall be allowed thereat except upon


proper approval of the Bureau and under such conditions as
may be imposed by the Bureau.
SUCH WAREHOUSE
FOR THE USE AS;
All such warehouses and premises shall
be subject to the supervision of

PUBLIC WAREHOUSE
And shall impose conditions as may be
necessary for the duties, taxes and
goods therein.
PRIVATE WAREHOUSE
CUSTOMS PREMISES
shall include customs offices, facilities, warehouses, ports, airports, wharves,
infrastructure and other premises over which the Bureau shall have exclusive
control, direction, and management for customs purposes.

EXTENSION WAREHOUSE
shall refer to a separate warehouse authorized by the Bureau to form part of
an already existing CBW to optimize capacity and efficiency in its operations.
THE FOLLOWING HAS AN EXISTING
CONTRACTS AS
PRIVATE OPERATORS WITH APPROPRIATE
GOVERNMENT AGENCY OR REGULATORS;

Authority (PIA)
THE GOODS MANUFACTURE IN WHOLE OR IN PART OF
IMPORTED MATERIALS, AND INTENDED FOR EXPORTATION,
MAY BE MADE IN A BONDED MANUFACTURING
WAREHOUSE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS;
Manufacturer shall file sufficient security
Application must be in writing
Customs officer shall examine the premises
The purpose for which the building is to be used
Customs officer accept bonds for operation
Operator shall pay an annual supervision fee
Customs officer evaluate the location
If provided for the safekeeping of the goods
Customs officer describe the capacity
If the applicant was compliant with the requirements
Commissioner fixed the supervision fee
