transfer of technology is
important in agriculture?
• Knowledge Transfer:Agricultural extension services facilitate
the transfer of the latest farming knowledge and technologies
to farmers.
• Skill Development:Farmers receive training to enhance their
skills in crop management, pest control, and other vital
aspects of agriculture.
• Problem Solving: Extension services provide a platform for
farmers to seek solutions to speci c challenges they
encounter in farming.
• Technology Adoption:Farmers are encouraged to adopt
modern agricultural technologies for increased productivity.

Near kothi mahal, Ujjain
ADA Banap Singh Verma led the State Seed
Laboratory, where he discussed seed quality, health,
and the signi cance of maintaining high-quality
germinating seeds. He also guided us on a tour of
his laboratory, showcasing various equipment,
including the moisture chamber, and explaining their
roles in seed testing and preservation.

DDA RPS Nayak led the DDA o ce discussion,
delving into various state government schemes and
subsidies o ered by Kisan Kalyan and Krishi Vibhag.
He highlighted subsidies on breeder seeds and other
initiatives supporting agricultural development.

During our visit, we gained insights into the
production of their agship product "Ziron"
and toured their quality testing lab. The plant
manager provided valuable information on the
supply chain management and the process of
acquiring raw materials for R.M. Phosphate
and Chemical Private Limited.
