importance of tight hyoid
AS WE ALL KNOW loose or tight hyoid makes a lot of
difference in your facial attractiveness, it can make
your jawline looks make more pronounced and chiseled
some people has a good jawline growth but they have
loose hyoid (destroying there looks) even if people
lose fat hyoid will be loose because its not fat
Loose hyoid give you a saggy look thats unattractive.
How to Fix loose hyoid
Relaxation
Relaxation is an important step if u move forward u
will no get correct or better changes so it will be a
mistake if u skip this
Relax 1: Relaxing your neck
Relaxing of neck is very important
Step 1: You need to stand up straight
Step 2: hold your neck with your both hands
Step 3: try to rotate your neck in clockwise and
anticlockwise direction
if u feel strain in your neck gently massage that area
where u feel strain.
Relax 2: Relaxing of suprahyoid
These are the muscles about your hyoid
relaxing these will help you to make hyoid move easily
after relaxing your neck, locate the supra hyoid
muscles and gently push it up and back
Do for for atleast 1-2 min
*IF you still feel strain move on to the
optional relax*
Relax(optional):
If you still free strain then
locate the trapezuis muscle
After locating the trapezius muscle
try relaxing the upper trapezius muscle by holding it
from your hands and press it and rotating your head
along with it
Raising hyoid
Technique 1 :
locate your hyoid bone its above your
adam’s apple as shown in the pic
Step 1: hold your hyoid from sides (don’t hyoid your
adam’s apple first spot your hyoid)
Step 2: after holding your hyoid from side make sure
to catch the back of your tongue
step 3 : push your hyoid upwards with your fingers
along with pushing your back of the tongue up
Technique 2:
after Technique 1 then gently relax
the suprahyoid muscles and then perform technique 2
Step 1: hold your hyoid again from sides
Step 2 : Gently push it backwards
*caution* don’t push too hard or it will cause injury
Technique 3 :
after technique 2 again make relax
your suprahyoid muscles and then perform then
perform technique 3
Step 1 push your back third up
step 2 move your head a little down ( to relax the
hyoid muslce)
Step 3 Push your hyoid up hard as you can it will
possibly block your airway but its fine
then hold this position for like 15-20 sec
you will feel a straight hyoid raise
(blocking airway is a common thing in this)
positioning Hyoid
Step 1: make sure to stand up straight with your
muscles relaxed
Step 2: move your hyoid bone gently left and right
*Combining the third technique with mckenzie chin tuck
will help but its not for beginners*
