‘Technology Training Report
AS an initiative for technology training was conducted for Second year and Third year
Civil Engineering students in our campus scheduled from 21.04,2022 to 29.04.2022 at Civil
CAD Lab. The content of the training is AutoCAD - 2021 (60 hours). The technology training
was given by Mr.S.Pradheep, CADD Technologies and Coimbatore- 641009.
Students familiar theAutoCAD technology using AutoCAD Software.
‘+ Utilize CAD software to create Geometric Constructions,
* Apply Multi-View Projection, Sectional Views, Auxiliary Views and dimensioning to
create pictorial drawings,
+ Apply the stages of the design process from scratch using engineering graphics
techniques such as sectional projections, dimensioning and computer generated drawings
(2D and 3D).
‘© Create and edit architectural working drawings that include walls, doors, windows, stairs,
and roofs of residential and commercial buildings.
© Create and edit wall modifier styles, endeaps to create wall design Monitor multiple roof
intersections and create roofs for dormers.

The technology training benefited 36 students (II Yr - 22 & III Yr-14), Dr.G.Selvabharathi and
Mr-T.Sivaganesan from the Department of Civil Engineering organised the training. 4
