PRMG 030: Project Budgeting and Financial Control – Jan 2024

Semester Project

Project requirements: -
You will select a company that satisfies the following conditions
1- Listed in the Egyptian stock market (https://www.egx.com.eg/en/listedstocks.aspx)

2- Its financial statements for the past five years are available (Dec 18 - Dec 22) or (June 18 - June 22)

The project consists of developing a financial report about the company. The report should include the following:

I) Calculations of Financial ratios you develop from the financial statements (8 Ratios)

2) Trend curves of the ratios for the 5 years

3) Your analysis for the company’s financial situation, indicating its strength and weakness

4) Recommendations on how this company can improve or maintain its situation.

Assume the Industry average to be constant over the five years and to be equal to the earliest year.

Important Notes:
• Show your work in an organized and professional format; not exceeding 20 pages
Maximum. Otherwise, you’ll lose grades.
• Use graphs, drawings, and tables if necessary.
• Make any logical assumptions you may need to perform your tasks.
• The project is to be performed in groups with 5 members.
• The report will be submitted in soft copy.
• All income and balance sheet statements for the company should be attached.
• Project submission should be in word format plus the excel sheet that shows your
calculations.
