MCX ONE Interworking Gateway provides standards based
interoperability between LMR and MCx systems. It allows easy
P25
transition from legacy to modern technology with ease of
MCX ONE LTE
deployment. The interworking gateway consists of all the required
PTT HANDSET functionalities for the integration of voice and data services
TETRA between MCx and narrowband land mobile radio (LMR) systems.
MCx interoperability with narrowband LMR systems is done
MCX ONE MOBILE
SUBSCRIBER through a standard based feature called the Interworking Function.
DMR It facilitates flexibility in the entire network by allowing the users
to interconnect two incompatible LMR systems. The gateway is
easy to use and expand as it provides high scalability to the users.

BENEFITS HOW DOES IT WORKS?
● Provides smooth migration by providing seamless IWF is the integration gateway between an MCPTT or MCData
integration between narrowband and broadband system and an LMR system. In MCPTT systems, the identity of an
networks. LMR user is provided as an MCPTT ID, and the identity of an LMR
● Provides service continuity to existing LMR network group is provided as an MCPTT group ID, which can be used by the
users and ease of upgradation from LMR networks to
IWF to derive the corresponding identities used in an LMR
MCx allowing LMR devices to co-exist with MCX ONE
system.
● Provides transition to global standard based solution
and custom integration with upgradability to future
global standards (when available) Similarly, in MCData systems, the identity of an LMR user is
● Easily manages prioritization between systems for provided as an MCData ID, and the identity of an LMR group is
effective communication provided as an MCData group ID, which can be used by the IWF to
● Flexibility in deployment and scalability as per user derive the corresponding identities used in an LMR system.
