This confirms receipt of your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, dated September x, 2011. Your request was received in the Federal Housing Finance Agencys (FHFA) FOIA office on September x, 2011, and assigned the FHFA FOIA request number 2011-000. Please note that pursuant to the FOIA and FHFA regulation, 12 CFR Part 1202.11(b), you have been categorized as a commercial use; educational institution, noncommercial scientific institution, or representative of the news media; other requester and will be charged for search and review time and duplication cost; duplication cost; search in excess of two hours and duplication in excess of 100 pages. Additionally, FHFA processes requests under a multi-track system (expedited, standard, and complex). After review of your request, it has been determined that your request will be placed in the expedited, standard, and complex track. FOIA requests are placed in this track when a requester shows an exceptional need or urgency for the records, based on the volume and/or simplicity of records requested, based on the volume and/or complexity of records requested. To the extent that your request may seek Office of Inspector General records, it has been forwarded to the Office of Inspector General for a determination as to whether it possesses responsive, non-exempt materials. The Office of Inspector General will respond directly to you. This referral does not constitute a determination by the FHFA as to whether any responsive, nonexempt Office of Inspector General records exist, and to the extent any such records exist, that they are releasable under the FOIA. Your FOIA request is releasable to the public under subsequent FOIA requests. In responding to these requests, FHFA does not release personal information, such as home or email addresses and home or mobile telephone numbers, all of which are protected from disclosure under FOIA Exemption 6 (5 U.S.C. 552(b)(6)).
