Expressing gratitude and admiration for a teacher involves navigating through a myriad of emotions,
memories, and lessons learned. It's not merely about narrating experiences but about weaving them
into a coherent narrative that resonates with the reader. Striking the right emotional tone without
sounding overly sentimental is a delicate task, as it requires a nuanced approach to convey the depth
of your connection with the teacher.
Furthermore, the challenge lies in avoiding clichés and generic statements commonly associated with
the theme. It demands creativity to present a unique perspective on why a particular teacher is
considered a hero, highlighting specific qualities or actions that set them apart.
Additionally, the essay should possess a structural coherence with a clear introduction, body
paragraphs that delve into specific instances or attributes, and a conclusion that encapsulates the
overall theme. Balancing personal anecdotes with broader reflections on the concept of heroism can
be intricate but is crucial for a well-rounded essay.

your life.

The Fall Of The House Of Usher Effect
Edgar Allan Poe once said that the artistry of narratives is in the ability to achieve a
unity of effect (Clement, lecture notes). His narrative The Fall of the House of Usher,
is about a man that gets a letter from an old friend that wants him to go visit because
he is sick. When he arrives, he notices that his friend and his sister is not the only one
affected by illness, the house is too. That leads to the death of the Ushers and the fall of
the house. In The Fall of the House of Usher, Poe makes death and decay, and overall
illness, his unity of effect. He establishes this effect through his narrator, the setting of the
story, and the tragedy that affects its characters. In this short narrative, there are many
textual examples that... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This alone gives us the sense that the setting is a somber place. From that brief section
of text, we can begin to picture a place that can be taken as being ill and gloomy. The
narrator gives us a very vivid description of the atmosphere of the house. For example,
when entering he said it was like he breathed an atmosphere of sorrow (The Art of the
Short Story, 711). A narratives plot may be the biggest factor in producing an effect.
Through the conflict that is presented, the reader is given events that lead them to
become interested in the story and its characters. The conflict that takes place in this
narrative is that Rodrick Usher, the narrators boyhood friend, is sick and he wants the
narrator to go to his estate to visit him. The mystery builds because the illness seems to
deadly and it is unclear what exactly is wrong with him. The narrator learned that the
entire family lay in the direct line of descent and it did not have any enduring branches
(The Art of the Short Story, 709). Although it is not explicitly stated by the Ushers, the
reader can infer that the cause of this family s illness is incest that has gone on for many
B)Solid State Drive (Ssd). Assuming We All Are Familiar
b)Solid State Drive (SSD) Assuming we all are familiar with USB memory stick, an
SSD is can be considered as an oversized and more complicated version of the USB
stick. Unlike the HDDs, there are no moving parts in the SSDs. Thus, it stores data in
microchips and is faster than the HDDs. The choice of which of the two is the better
depends on the buyer s needs and preference. The price of SSDs is comparatively
higher so as its performances relatively faster than HDDs [5]. Thus, if the buyer is
more concern for better performance and not so concern about the price, he or she can
go for SSD rather than HDD. However, if the buyer is more concern about the price
than the performance then he or she can go for HDD. Figure 6 below shows a... Show

5.Customizing and Configuring PC Components The previous steps (1 thru 4) describe
the various components of the computers available in today s market and suggest the
users for making an efficient choice for customizing their PCS. This is the most
important section of the document and it deals with the assembling, configuration, and
installation the PC components. Even though this task cannot be detailed in a short
document of this length, I will try my best to summarize the process in a simplest
possible manner. The assembling of the software components of PC can easily be done
by using some of the available online resources. Therefore, I have intentionally excluded
those steps to shorten the document. The users of this guide are urged to refer available
online videos for additional references concerning this subject and any other information
they might need. Customization of a PC can be done just by replacing a single
component or multiple components. Whether the customizing is for improving the
performance or for replacing a broken component, making a mindset for customizing
comes in first place. Users are required to buy desired component/components following
the guidelines provided in the earlier section of this guide. Since, customizing requires
the installation of one or more components based on the user s preference and
necessities, I am giving brief guidelines for installing the system unit followed by its
Problems with the Presidential Elections in United States
The method of choosing the president proved to be But one of many vexing problems
for the fifty five men who assembled in Philadelphia in May 1887 (Euchner, and Maltese
2). Our forefathers were faced with many hard decisions that would have repercussions
for the next two centuries. One of the most perplexing problems facing them was the
question of how to elect a president. They had to choose from three main systems: elect
the president by congress, the people, or electors. There was much debate over this topic
in the constitutional convention until eventually the Electoral Collegesystem was chosen
to elect our president. The Electoral College system has been in place for over 200
years and most Americans are still not sure how it... Show more content on

Some people think that the system would work better if all the states were required to
use the same method of choosing electors, but the constitution protects the states rights in
this case.
The legislative system never gained very much support because of too much bargaining,
promises, and payoffs. The district system eventually lost popularity because it
encourages third parties, which went against the wishes of the forefathers. This left the
general ticket system in the drivers seat. This system turned the electors into 538 of the
most powerful people in the country. There are two states that still use the district
system, but the remaining 48 states use the general ticket system ( Electoral College I
256). The voter votes for either the president or the party that they wish to hold office,
but this can cause a problem if there is an unfaithful elector. Electors are expected to
follow the people s will by voting for candidates winning the popular election in that
state. Electors that do not vote for what they are expected to vote for are considered
faithless or unfaithful electors. 26 states do not require electors to vote for whom they

Life Events And Stress, Stressors And Frustration
Boot Camp Days Finally, it has come, the final paper! Although I will miss all the
great things we learn about in class every week, I will not miss having to think of
information to type in these papers. This week the topics I have chosen to discuss are;
life events and stress, stressors and frustration. The best way I can relate to these topics
is by talking about my personal experiences at Navy Boot Camp. The worst eight and a
half weeks of my life.
The Good Beginning
My journey began, I was leaving the Tampa airport and heading to Chicago, destination
Great Lakes, to become a sailor. At the airport, I was full of many different thoughts and
emotions, being excited, but scared of what was to come.
Arriving at the Chicago O Hare airport we were met by a group of Petty Officers who
were a lot nicer than I thought they would be. Before we left the airport, we had to
throw out anything we were not supposed to have, lip balm, lotions, soaps, we couldn t
even keep our toothbrushes. That was fine, at least I wasn t getting yelled at. Then we
loaded up onto a bus and headed to the base.
The Start of the Worst Arriving on base, we pulled up to a building and quickly loaded
off the bus and filed in one by one. There were three different people all yelling
different directions. Sadly, the Petty Officers who picked us up from the airport, were
not Recruit Division Commanders (RDC). My hope of everything continuing to go well
was shot down very quickly. Just being there five
Chin A Country Of Tremendous Importance Essay
History of China is a long and complex. China is a country of tremendous importance.
From the origins of the Chinese Empire, all the way to the present day, China has been
one of the most innovative, influential, and powerful countries in the world. China in
particular has an incredibly rich and unique historical heritage and history. Like many
other ancient societies Chinese society began along a river, was based on agriculture,
and developed trade networks and large cities.
China s geography is quite interesting, the textbook refers to it as a study in contrast.
The west and southwest are mountainous and bleak. The north is arid and barren,
dominated by the Gobi abd Mongolian Plateau. Despite these harsh and uninviting
regions. This did not prevent connections with other cultures. Eastern China is defined
by two major rivers. In the South is the Yangzi river, because of the positive traits of
the Yangzi river the terrain is lush, ideal for farming. In the North however, is the
yellow river, the brownish yellow silt is responsible for both its name and color. The
yellow river is shallow and flows through flat plains, with frequent floods, naturally
harsh and cold. However, the brownish yellow soil deposited on surrounding lands by
periodic floods, the rich silt restores the soils fertility. Farming came early to this area,
as early as 7000 B.C.E, a necessity to sustain the growing population, in addition because
the yellow rivers unpredicately, it forced those who lived
Theory Of Perfectionism
According to Dunn, Whelton, and Sharpe (2006), due to working as academics involves
having to constantly receive criticism from colleagues and students as well as bearing
the expectations to deliver work in the highest standards, university academics are
therefore seen as the most appropriate group to represent the professional group for the
study of perfectionism. The career as a universityprofessor is indeed very challenging,
whereby everyday work entails critical scrutiny from peers. In addition to that, the
environment that these professors have to face each day are somewhat trying and
unaccommodating (Gmelch, Wilke, Lovrich, 1986) which can further aggravate
dysfunctional personality tendencies. All these criteria may one way or the other give...

According to a study conducted by Dr. Sherry and colleagues, it was found that the
existence of a high level of perfectionism among professors led to a lesser likelihood of
them producing publications, gaining valuable citations and also publishing their work in
high impact journals or in other words lower research productivity. This could impact
their career in the long run due to the more they had perfectionistic tendencies within
them, the less productive they were in research. Whereas there is general agreement in
the literature on the definition of perfectionism, Dr. Sherry is of the opinion that
perfectionists are individuals who either strive to execute a task perfectly or not
executing it at all. They can never settle for less in anything that they do and may
continuously reflect on their abilities which can lead to an exaggerated self checking of
not committing any mistakes whatsoever (Charbonneau,
