Pacio vs. Saruta trilogy set for ONE: Revolution

Reigning ONE strawweight world champion Joshua Pacio of Baguio City’s Team Lakay is slated
to make the third defense of his world title in a rubber match against Yosuke Saruta at ONE: Revolution
on September 24 in a yet to be determined venue.
The pair first met inside the cage in 2019 where the Japanese snatched the title via split decision.
A rematch took place just three months later and Pacio was able to regain the gold-plated strap by
way of fourth-round knockout.
Pacio, 25, made two successful defenses of his title since that night and has not fought since he
defeated former ONE strawweight world titleholder Alex Silva in January 2020.
Saruta, meanwhile, last fought in September when he beat ex-champ Yoshitaka Naito by
unanimous decision.

a great boxer.
It's outside of the ring where Pacquiao really shines.
Pacquiao has done it all outside of the ring, and he's done it all with class.
He's spent time on the big screen in his native country, appearing in films like Licensed Fist, Son of
Commander and Wapakman.
Pacquiao's presence outside of the ring hasn't gone unnoticed.
He's the face of an entire nation, and sets a great example for fans of boxing, sport and mankind.

Raptors rookie Terence Davis charged with assaulting woman in NYC
Toronto Raptors rookie Terence Davis was arrested in New York on charges of assaulting a
woman and criminal mischief, police said Wednesday.
Update: The Toronto Raptors released the following statement on Friday.
The Toronto Raptors take these issues very seriously, and we will fully cooperate and support the
League in its investigation of this matter as we work to determine the appropriate next steps for our
team.”
Davis then hit the woman in the face, hurting her eye, and grabbed her phone and broke its
screen, Detective Sophia Mason said in a statement.
Davis, a 23-year-old guard, played college basketball at Mississippi before joining the Raptors as
an undrafted free agent before the start of the 2019-20 season.

Kirk Cousins, Lamar Jackson should face consequences for ducking vaccine
This isn’t a betting column, though there does appear to be an opportunity to make a few bucks in
the NFL market.
In Minnesota, it has already cost Cousins an endorsement with a hospital, which couldn’t very
well have him promoting health care when refusing to do the one thing necessary to keep himself and
those around him healthy.
Cousins is doing the opposite, and it has already cost the Vikings valuable practice time as he and
two other quarterbacks were sidelined last week because of possible exposure to COVID-19.
The case could be made that the team never plays six games the entire season. Sports should be
no different. For the good of their sports and their teammates athletes should face only one simple choice.
