Small hydropower is a potential solution to provide clean, low-cost electricity for remote areas by harnessing the mechanical power of moving water on a smaller scale than large hydro plants. While large hydro has significant environmental impacts, small hydro uses run-of-river systems without large dams to generate electricity and has fewer negative effects. The report aims to investigate the advantages and disadvantages of small hydropower as an alternative for powering remote populations in an environmentally-friendly manner.

Summary Essays

Crafting an essay on the subject of "Summary Essays" may prove to be a challenging endeavor.
Summarizing content requires a delicate balance between condensing information and maintaining
clarity. The difficulty lies in distilling the essence of a text while avoiding the loss of key details. One
must possess not only a comprehensive understanding of the source material but also the ability to
articulate its core ideas succinctly.

Moreover, the challenge extends beyond mere summarization; it involves the skill of critical analysis.
A successful summary essay requires the writer to discern the significance of the information
presented and offer insightful commentary. This dual task demands a deep engagement with the
content, a critical eye, and the ability to convey complex ideas in a simplified manner.

The process of writing a summary essay involves meticulous planning and organization. Ensuring
that each summarized point contributes to the overall coherence of the essay can be a formidable
task. Striking the right balance between brevity and informativeness is a constant challenge, as too
much detail can obscure the essence of the original text, while too little may result in an incomplete
representation.

Furthermore, the writer must maintain objectivity, avoiding personal biases that could distort the
summary. A successful summary essay should reflect the author's understanding of the source
material without introducing personal opinions or interpretations. Achieving this level of detachment
while still providing a thoughtful analysis adds an extra layer of complexity to the writing process.

In conclusion, composing an essay on the topic of "Summary Essays" is a demanding task that
requires a blend of analytical skills, concise expression, and a deep understanding of the source
material. It is an exercise in precision and objectivity, and mastering this art necessitates time, effort,
and a thorough grasp of the content at hand.

Essay On Eucharist And Eschatology
The Lord s Supper, or the Eucharist, is a representative meal of the Gospel; bread and
wine represent the human body of Jesus sent by the Father to be broken for our
iniquities so that we may have everlasting life through the Spirit. In this respect, it is
easy to see how the Eucharist and eschatology are related, for the sacrifice of Jesusgives
believers hope for their future. However, there are many intricate connections between
the two doctrines that the Church and believers fail to recognize. In her article Eucharist
Eschatology , Martha Moore Keish explains that it is easy to recognize how the Eucharist
is reflective of the past and influences the present, but it hardly makes claims about the
future. Similarly, eschatology makes... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Furthermore, eschatology is best understood when it considers Good Friday, for without
His death, Christians have no reason to hope for the renewal of creation. However, this
renewal does not come without judgment, a prominent tension point when discussing
eschatology. Thus, Moore Keish argues that in light of the Eucharist, this tension can be
resolved. The Eucharist, she explains, serves as a reminder that the Judge is also the
Redeemer , yet it is important to remember that judgment has already come when Jesus
bears the sins of the world (122). For Christians, judgment is the past and future, and it
motivates present actions that are honoring and God fearing.
The doctrines of the Eucharist and eschatology are best understood in the context of
each other, yet Moore Keish continues, arguing that the unification of the doctrines
unites the body of believers. In partaking in the communal sacrament, believers get a
taste of the eschatological feast of the Lamb when they will all be seated at the table
of the King (116). Therefore, communion is more an act within community than a
display of one s own salvation. The breaking of the bread and pouring of the wine is
an act in which the disciples partook. When the Church performs the Eucharist, they are
joining with the body of believers past and present in the remembrance of Good Friday
while yearning for the day all believers will be gathered around the Lord s table.
One of Moore Keish s central claims
Who Is Paul Revere A Hero
Paul Revere wasn t the only hero. In fact there were many other people that helped Paul
Revere. Many people have changed facts around and made it look like he is the only
hero. This brings up the issue about authors changing what people have done to their own
stories. They shouldn t change what people did because they should present them as they
were, they shouldn t change their accomplishments, and they should have respect for
their families. Authors should remain historically accurate when they write about a real
person as a herobecause they should present them as they were. Authors shouldn t be
able to change what people were because they could make them look bad or make things
up that didn t even happen. They could change the way people
Barium Enema Essay
Everyone should know that a lower GI is a very common and important exam used to
diagnose many colon conditions. A lower GI examination, also know as a barium enema,
is an x ray examination of the large intestine. The large intestine, or large bowel, consists
of the entire colon, including the appendix, rectum, and sigmoid colon. This commonly
performed test is essentially the predecessor to the more familiar colonoscopy. A lowerGI
is used worldwide to help diagnose fatal diseases and many other problems that affect the
large intestine.

Some of the reasons that your doctor might order this exam are if you are experiencing
diarrhea, constipation, blood in your stool, unexplained weight loss, anemia, to screen for
colon polyps or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The barium is then released from the bag and begins to flow slowly into your colon.
As the barium begins to fill your bowel you will feel some pain and pressure, and an
urgency to have a bowel movement. The doctor will watch the barium as it moves
through your intestine on a TV screen, using a special live x ray called fluoroscopy.
You will be asked to turn to different positions, and the table may be tilted slightly to
help the barium flow through your colon and to take x rays from different directions.
Sometimes a slightly different version of the test may be done. It is called a double
contrast barium enema. If a double contrast study is being done, the barium will be
drained out, and then air will be injected into your colon. As you can imagine with the
air contrast study, the amount of cramping and pain increases, due to the expansion of
the bowel with air. After all of the films are taken the enema tube is removed, and you
are taken to the restroom to expel the remaining barium and air. One or two films may be
taken afterwards, to check how much barium is remaining in your bowel. The entire test
takes anywhere from thirty minutes to one hour. After the exam you may resume a
regular diet, and be sure to drink plenty of liquids to replace those you have lost and to
help flush the remaining barium out of your system.

California s Obesity Problem
California s Obesity Problem According to the World Health Organization, obesity
kills over 2.8 million people worldwide each year. California has its share of obesity
rates. Almost everyone has a family or friend that is obese. Obesity is a problem that
will continue unless it is stopped. Obesity has increased as more and more people eat
out. Many campaigns have tried to get people aware of being overweight, but majority
of them have failed, because eating out provide a cheap escape from cooking. Since
eating fast foodis unavoidable for many people the best solution is for fast food
restaurants to offer healthier alternatives on their menus. This could be enforced in
America by the state department of health.
The History of Obesity Obesity has been around a long time, but only since the 1990s
has obesity rates gone up. It has more than doubled and now affects more than half of
Americans. (Kazaks, 43) Obesity rates have grown as physical activity levels have
decreased and fast food consumption has increased. Obesity related expenses cost the
USA about 190 billion dollars every year. (Forbes) Obesity also causes other health
risks such as, heart disease, stroke, cancer, liver disease and many others. Many states
have high obesity rates, but California is the 11th least obese state. (Fasinfat) Even
though California is not as obese as other states, it has a serious overweight problem.
One of the major causes for this is the over consumption of fast foods.

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Small Hydropower
The specific purpose of my report is to investigate possible solutions to provide clean,
low cost and efficient electricity for remote areas, specifically by small hydro power.
The mechanical power of water is used 2000 years ago by the Greek for rotating wheels
to grind wheat to flour. It develops throw out the years by replacing the wheels by
turbines that allowed people to produce electricity from mechanical power.
However, the large scale of using hydro power have had many negative effects on the
environment that surrounding the hydropower plants by constructing dams and population
replacement causing damage to environmental systems over the globe, and not provide
ideal solution for population in remote areas.
The solution is now available with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
1 Low cost.

Small hydropower depends on the site where it are constructed and the technologies that
are used, so its range is between 1000 dollars to 20,000. The simple equipment and the
maintenance fees also make the small hydropower reliable for low income countries in
comparison with large hydro power( Micro , 2006).

2 For remote areas.

Small hydro is important in remote area application and communities who do not have
electricity for several years to come. Small hydro easy to operate, it is suitable to
support local population, even stand as a dependent source of electricity for remote area
(Puranik, n.d.).

Future of Small hydro power.

The size energy of water theoretically is 4 times than the exploited energy at current
time. The environmental and economic concerns are the two factors behind the lower
number of actual size (Baird, 2006, p3). This will open the opportunities to in front of
the small hydropower to be developed more and more with its low environmental
impacts and low cost constructions. As research indicates and new technology increases
the efficiency of low head turbines, small hydro power will increase in the future (Fig 17).
The Golden Bear Research Paper
2 of the greatest golfers in the history of the game, Jack Nicolas and Arnold Palmer,
made an impact on the game of golf like no other. Between the 2 of them, they have
broken records, and still hold records to this day. Jack Nicolas, also known as the
Golden Bear , still hold the record for the most majors won in a career, with 18 of them.
Arnold Palmer, also known as the King , has the 5th most PGA tourwins in history.
Between the two of them they have won 25 majors. Both of these figures have had a
impact on my life and many others, the way they carry themselves and act toward
others on and off the golf course. No one will ever replace the King and the Golden Bear .

Arnold Palmer, who was born on September 10, 1929, is still know as one of the
greatest golfers to ever play the game. Palmer was nicknamed the King , because if his

Arnold in the US Open, and that started one of the greatest rivalries of all time.
(Poulter) One of the biggest differences I know between the two golfers form watching
old reruns of tournaments, Jack was a very high ball hitter and Arnold was a low ball
hitter. I watched a show where both Jack and Arnold described each other s games and
that was the big difference that stuck out in my mind. But in more ways than not,
Nicklaus and Palmer were similar with the their golf related careers. Both of them had
record breaking golf careers, and now have golf course design companies. Also they both
have clothing lines, I guess even after there many years if competing they still want
