COURSE Keyboarding

WVEIS CODE 1441

Course Description
The skill sets in this course are designed as a foundational/non-occupational
course for both middle school and high school career technical students. The Skill
Sets in this course are representative of the basic knowledge included in a Career
and Technical Education/Business and Marketing Program of Study. Incorporated
into this course are elements of introductory keyboarding techniques necessary for
a career in the business and marketing field. This course is also recommended as
an Elective in the Career and Work Skills Training Program of Study and a
Prerequisite in the Microsoft Computer Applications Specialist (MCAS),
Information Management and Administrative Support Program of Studys.
